The next morning, Mr Frederick leaves for work, then to his lawyer's place before they set out for the journey leaving his security guard in charge of his house, going with his wife, baby Comfort and her nanny. Frederick: My Queen I'm leaving, take care. Edith: Remember to go to the Lawyer's office to get the will done. Frederick: OK, I will do just that.( Immediately after completing his office duties he went to his lawyer,. their family lawyer) Knock Knock Alexander: Come in Frederick: ( takes his seat) My senior Advocate our one and only family lawyer how have you been. Frederick:( closes the door and leaves). ** Curtain Falls ** The next day Mr Frederick and his family set out to travel to the Village for the preparation of his Father burial in person of Late Mr Wayne Norman. Edith: Cynthia Have you packed all the clothes we will be needing there. Cynthia: Yes Madam. Edith: Did you also tidy the house, and packed all of Comfort's baby stuffs. Cynthia: Madam, I packed everything and the house is arranged. Edith: Arrange the things you have packed to the car, also take Fredrick's Luggage. I think we are set to go, let Frederick get dressed then we will go. Cynthia: Ok ma, will do just that. Frederick: I am already dressed, let's go. Cynthia: Madam, I tucked Comfort to sleep. Edith: That's splendid. Cynthia: Thank you ma Frederick: ( opens the car and honks at the security guard) Billy Roberts, the one and only. Billy: Yes sir Frederick: Take care of the house we are leaving for the village, don't let anyone in even if they said it's an instruction by me, we will return next week, take care of yourself and my house in particular till we return. ** Frederick then gives Billy, twenty thousand naira ( 20, 000). Billy: Yes sir, Thank you so much. Safety to your journey. Fredrick: Ok. Billy: Madam take care,. Cynthia bye,. Comfort bye. Edith: Ok we will. ** Curtain Falls ** Mr Frederick and his family arrives at their home town exactly 7:45pm, though they set out in the morning by 9:00am. Edith: Cynthia bring down the luggage. Cynthia: Yes Madam. Edith: Mum, Mum, we are here. Catherine: Welcome, come and sit down my wonderful son and my beautiful wife. Frederick: How was your day mum. Catherine: Fine ohh, but how was your day, after all you travelled, I have all these maids to take care of me, my day was ok, the cars and even the house in my name. Edith: Mama, our day was splendid, the Journey was smooth. Cynthia: Ma please where should I drop all these things. Catherine: Keep it in the guests house over there, ( She then points to the guests house to show Cynthia) Cynthia: Ok, Thank you ma. Catherine: Yh, ok. My children are here to stay for a month. Edith: No, ohh after the Burial we will go back home. Before my leave I took from the hospital expired. Catherine: Well, this is also your home isn't it. Edith: I didn't say it's not our home. Catherine: Then why were you complaining? Frederick: Ok mama, we will stay. Catherine: That's sounds much better dear son. ** Curtain Falls** The Burial of Late Mr Wayne Norman was a success and was celebrated in a grand style, no complications involved, nothing less than a thousand people attended the Burial but still not in comparism with Comfort's naming ceremony. Two weeks after the Burial, Mr Frederick and his family were ready to return to their house. Edith: Cynthia, please hurry up to avoid all those traffic at the express road. Cynthia: Yes ma. Madam there is something I want to tell about. Edith: Carry those baggage first, then you will have the whole day but at the City to tell me whatever that is on your mind. Am I understood. Cynthia: But Madam, it's very important about our journey. Edith: We don't have time to spare, go quickly and do what I instructed you to do. Cynthia: Ok ma, ( packs the luggages to the car). ** 10 minutes later** Edith: Are you through in packing the luggage to the Car. Cynthia: Yes Madam. Can I speak with you now please. Edith: Ok, then if you insist on wasting my time. Take a seat, you can speak. Cynthia: Thank you ma. Edith: Well I'm listening Cynthia: Madam, yesterday night, I was in a trance and saw that as we dey move for road, one big truck just come hit our Car, and the truck was filled with Petrol so our Car was set ablaze and no one survived, so I suppose we should not embark on this journey this week. Edith: Ok, thank you, but like I said earlier to mama, my holiday I took from work will expire a day after tomorrow and I may get a query from higher officials at across nations. Cynthia: Ok madam. Edith: Anyways is Comfort asleep ? Cynthia: Yes ma'am, she is sleeping. Edith: Ok then, we are all set to go let's wait for Frederick, he will soon come then we will drive out. Cynthia: Ok madam. ** Curtain Falls** Thirty minutes later Frederick comes with Catherine and they begin to drive to the city. Edith: What kept you in there for so long. Frederick: Well I was ........ Catherine: He was eating, I can't let my son go out to drive on a hungry stomach, I also packed your food in these flasks. I packed fried rice and Chicken in this flask while in this flask are small chops. Edith: Ahh Mama, you don't need to go through all these stress, we could have bought food on the road. Catherine: Healthy meals from home are always the best. Frederick: Yes, it's the best. Edith: Did I say they aren't? Frederick: Enter the car let's go. Edith: Mama, take care of yourself, we are leaving. Catherine: Ok thanks, and you too, go well, drive safety. Byeeeee Edith: I will call when we arrive. Catherine: I will await your call.
