ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS Thanks to my Heavenly Father and to my father who is in heaven. Book two. . . who knew? Thought after one I would be through! Said to myself, God, how I glorify and thank you. Reborn, I have been. For me it meant to start all over again. So here I stand rejoicing in praise, thanking Him for his mercy and grace in all ways, for allowing me to see another day. Your angels have truly been encamped about me; You have allowed me to be free, no hostility. Forgive, not forget. Now I have no regret and neither do I fret. You will always make a way and I will always stay praising You for each day. With each book there is a track and testimony for my life. Sometimes the field is level and then, without warning, the terrain changes. So it has been since last I reached the point of writing an acknowledgment. My children, Endia, Aja, Caramia: my blessings and my strength. Thank you for standing behind me pushing me, standing in front of me … pulling. . . and kneeling beside me, praying me through and to this point. You are my muses. Annie Logan Varner, my Mom. . . thank you and I love you. Short, simple, sweet and true. I just thank you for things too personal to enumerate. Shoulders back, chest out, stomach in.. . . I move forward with God’s grace as He saw fit to bless me with you as my mother. Mel Williams, my Father, thank you for the stories and creativity that flowed from you to me. Finally, to you—your acceptance of my work blesses my soul. . . I pray that you enjoy the story and are encouraged. You are blessed and of God. . . . Open your heart to Him and let the Spirit be your guide.
