Chapter 24 By the time Delia had regained some semblance of lucidity, she was bewildered and could not recall when her clothes had been removed and replaced by a hospital gown. Running her fingers along her jawline, she felt the stitches, explaining the tingling sensation and tenderness. Tentatively peering around the room, she released a sigh of relief that Aaron and Sid were nowhere in sight. Seizing the opportunity, she tried futilely to get her bearings.
