Chapter 29 Waiting impatiently in front of the high school for her Uncle Eddie, Mignon watched the approach of the blue Rolls Royce Cornice convertible as it pulled to the curb. Standing by the front gates, she surreptitiously glanced around, knowing that all eyes were on her. It was 1975, and at seventeen years old Mignon was a force to be reckoned with.
