“You need to calm yourself around, mate. You pushed her and didn't even apologize to her. What kind of a human are you?” Leo kept nagging in my mind since we left the hospital.
He kept insisting I returned and checked up on her, but when I refused, he kept bothering me, making me feel a headache.
“Can you, for goodness sake, just let me be for a second? You are giving me a headache.” I said to him.
“No way will I let you be. I will never let you be. You know that mate is the only one we have. You can't keep treating her this way. It's wrong. I really hate it how you have refused to forgive her, and you are being mean to her. Yes, she lied to us, but she told us why.
