Leaving "Leaving..." The next morning, Kelvin woke up early, feeling a mix of excitement and sadness. He knew he had to leave soon, but he wanted to cherish every moment with his wife and unborn child. "Good morning, my dear," he greeted Sarah, his voice filled with love. Sarah opened her eyes, and her face lit up with a warm smile. "Morning, dear. Aww, breakfast in bed? How sweet of you, thank you." Kelvin smiled back, his heart full of joy. "What do you expect? I have to pamper my darling wife and daughter." As he caressed her stomach, Sarah's eyes sparkled with happiness. "Thank you." Kelvin's expression turned serious. "Now, eat up while I get ready for work. I need to see the team today to make sure everything is set." Sarah's face fell, and she looked at him with sad eyes. "But I thought you'd spend the week with me before you go." Kelvin's heart ached, seeing the disappointment in her eyes. "I know, dear, but I promise I'll be home early today. I just need to tie up some loose ends." Sarah nodded, trying to understand. "Fine... Just be home early, okay?" Kelvin hugged her tight. "I will, my love. I promise." At the office, Kelvin felt the weight of responsibility on his shoulders. He knew everyone was counting on him to lead the mission successfully. As he entered the meeting room, his team greeted him with a chorus of "Good morning, sir!" Kelvin smiled, trying to hide his nervousness. "Good morning, everyone. Let's get started." The meeting was intense, with discussions about the island's mysterious energies and the risks involved. Kelvin felt the pressure mounting, but he remained determined. After the meeting, Kelvin rushed to his car, eager to get home to Sarah. But as he turned around, he saw Mr. Walker approaching him. "Dr. Kelvin... Hi, I just wanted to congratulate you on your new mission," Mr. Walker said, his voice filled with genuine admiration. Kelvin smiled, feeling a sense of pride. "Thank you, Mr. Walker. That means a lot coming from you." Mr. Walker's expression turned serious. "Dr. Kelvin, I must say, I have my concerns about this mission. It's risky, and you're a family man... I think you should reconsider." Kelvin's heart swelled with emotion, knowing that Mr. Walker was coming from a place of kindness. "I know, Mr. Walker, but I'm doing this for my family. I want to give them a promising future." Mr. Walker nodded, understanding in his eyes. "I admire your determination, Dr. Kelvin. I have full trust in you." Kelvin smiled, feeling grateful for Mr. Walker's support. "Thank you, Mr. Walker. That means everything " Mr. Walker's expression turned serious, his eyes filled with concern. "Dr. Kelvin, I've known you for a while now, and I've seen your dedication to your work. But this mission... it's different. It's risky, and I worry about the consequences." Kelvin nodded, understanding Mr. Walker's perspective. "I know, sir. I've thought about this a lot, and I believe it's worth the risk. We can't just ignore the secrets of the Island of Phantom. We have to uncover them." Mr. Walker sighed. "I understand your passion, Dr. Kelvin. But what about your family? You're a husband, a father-to-be... don't you think this mission will put them in danger?" Kelvin's heart swelled with emotion. "That's exactly why I'm doing this, Mr. Walker. I want to give my family a better life, a secure future. And I believe this mission can provide that." Mr. Walker's expression softened. "I see. I just want to make sure you're thinking of all the possibilities. You're not just risking your own life, but also the lives of those who depend on you." Kelvin nodded, his determination renewed. "I know, sir. And I appreciate your concern. But I've made up my mind. I'm willing to take that risk for my family's sake." Mr. Walker nodded, a small smile on his face. "I admire your courage, Dr. Kelvin. I just hope you'll be careful, for all our sakes." Kelvin smiled back, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Mr. Walker. "I will, sir. Thank you for your concern." As they parted ways, Kelvin felt a sense of reassurance. He knew that Mr. Walker was looking out for him, and that gave him the strength to move forward with his mission.
