Yoojung spent most of Tuesday morning seated across Yihwan, knees almost touching if not for the space created by the looping pedal in front of them. “Fresh out of the box…ish,” he said of the device as he set it up, gave her a crash course on how to use it, and let her have fun with it. The result was an hour or so of recording various beats and harmonies (laughter, at one point), until she said “Okay—I think we can run with this.”
This is…fine.
She thought it amazing that they finished their mashup of Beautiful by B2ST and Walk the Moon’s Shut Up and Dance so quickly, as if they’ve prepared for it beforehand. Everything just fell into place so naturally that they were already doing a practice recording after lunch.
