Storm and Calm
Two female HBS Plus employees were gossiping in front of the washroom mirror when Yoojung ran inside, found a cubicle, and slammed the door shut. She heard them both gasp, ask what that was about, and giggle quietly to themselves, perhaps concluding she was having tummy trouble.
How she wished that were the case instead.
Placing a hand over her heart, Yoojung leaned against the wall and reminded herself: Breathe. Closing her eyes, she drowned out the gossip, the sound of running water over the sink, and the offensive loudness of the hand dryer. Soon, she was alone, and feeling too many things at once.
Not good.
