I took the phone from her and dropped it on the chair closest to me, I noticed her eyes were getting dimmer like she was going to pass out. I caught her in time and took her to our room.
I placed her on the bed, then ordered the maids to get a napkin and warm water so I could take care of her. She fell asleep while I was doing so, so I left her to rest while I placed a call through to Mr. Aaron, he was shot in his hand during the incident.
I was so busy with Mia that I forgot about him. I placed a call to him and he picked on the second ring.
Hey, Mr. Aaron. How’s the treatment going?
It’s going fine sir, I’ve been given medications already. I’d be heading home soon.
