It’s hard for us to grasp the degree of perfection that God involved in our making. The intelligence of our bodies are alone able to absorb hope of life from everything around. It is just like our minds, when twinned with a pure soul, can recharge with positive energy and continue on their way, fulfilling their mission. I interpreted that as God’s way of enabling us to rejoice forever in his eternal kingdom. Being made in His image and likeness is an act of supreme love for which we can never give enough thanks. Really, it’s not thanks that He expects, but a grateful recognition and appreciation of His gifts, having as a starting point the will and desire to know ourselves.
