Declan’s POV.
I woke up this morning again with incessant headache. I had that dream again, of a little girl screaming a name that wasn’t mine. Though it seemed addressed to me. The little girl looked at me like I was the only one she had. Her blue sea-like eyes had many emotions I couldn’t make out. All directed at me. At first, I had thought it was just one of the scary dreams, but it continued. I had the dream almost every-day. Could the little girl be affiliated to me in a way or -
“Master” Daye called out, interrupting my thoughts.
“Not again!” I groaned, strolling downstairs to open the door for the intruder.
“What?” I asked, not bothering to exchange pleasantries with him.
“Master” he said, trying to strike a conversation.
Sure enough, with a glare from me, he proceeded to what he was supposed to be here for.
“A board meeting at the mill branch, by 10am, a meeting with Austin at 12am,” he was saying carefully. “A blind date with the young lady of the Bayes by –”
Who added that to my schedule? I asked irritated.
“The old madam” he said, a bit fearfully.
“Not interested. Cancel it.”
“But the lady?”
“Give her some money!”
“The respectable Miss Bayes? Some money? Ain’t no way that’s gonna work master”
“I said!”
“And the old madam?”
“She your grandma or mine? Now get your sticky ass off my house” I bellowed, getting slightly annoyed.
“Okayy" he gave in, raising his hands in defeat.
“I’ll be down in a minute,” I said to his back.
Now, this old lady wouldn’t be giving me much rest till I find her a daughter in law, and I can’t just marry –
Wait, Zyl? Where did she go this early morning again? I was exasperated as I searched for her vigorously. I had adopted the cat 5 years ago, when I saw it wandering on the streets, its blue eyes looking worn out and scared. Subconsciously, my head went back to the cat I saw with the little girl in my dream. And I had given the cat the first name that came to my head.
In a hurry, I gave the furry animal her food and set down to catch up with my nosy assistant. Today was definitely going to be a long day.

(Zylphia's POV)
“To the mill branch of Maximus company. We have a presentation to make today,” I told Rue, my assistant calmly. Without the mysterious big boss, though.
“Okay” she said and turned to concentrate on the wheel, as I fastened my seatbelt and looked outside the window. I heard that I once lived here. Unfortunately, I had lost my memories of this place and only had pieces of memories in my head. Like the name. Kyle. The green eyes. The bracelet, which I had turned into something big.
I drew my gaze back inside, to my bracelet. Subconsciously, this bracelet felt special to me. But each time I try to remember at least a little, like the origin of the bracelet, I get caught up in a haze, in my head, just like now.
“Zyl?” Rue called out, waving at me, trying to get my attention.
“We’re here.”
“Okay.” I said, gathering all courage to step into this new life. I would find my mother, the origin of the bracelet, my memories. And haunt my enemies, for life.
I opened the door and alighted from the car, my eyes meeting with the morning’s sunlight. It was not time for my eyes to admire nature, or the sun, so I wore my glasses – elegantly, like the woman I had become.
