I couldn't shake off the emotions that washed over me after Jayden left. His words had left me weak and at the same time excited, my mind racing with possibilities. What would happen next? Would he declare our love in front of the whole school, or maybe even the world? How would our parents react?
As I tossed in bed, I suddenly remembered that I had school the next day. I got out of bed and began arranging my things for the next day. After finishing, I checked my phone and saw a message from Nina.
