I leaned back in my chair, trying to process the revelation that actually left me very excited. Allison Bells called me? How to scream f**k without her hearing?
"So, you're not a student at Boston College anymore?" Allison asked, changing the subject.
I shook my head. "No, I'm not continuing my studies. I'm going to run this art exhibition instead."
"Cool."
"What about you?" I asked, softly. "I'm sure you missed a lot... your exams, because of being in the hospital. Right?"
"Yes," was all she uttered. "That also means that I'll be repeating the year again."
I winced, feeling a surge of regret. "I'm sorry, Allison."
Her expression softened. "It's fine. I'm over it now and besides, I got better so it's not a problem."
"I'm so sorry, Allison. Again."
