She felt so embarrassed and decided to finally open up to him about what made her pull such an act, telling him about how she lost her job, which made her step out of her house to clear her head. Along the line, He asked if she was interested in going into a contract marriage, purely business he made emphasis on that. He asked her casually, to avoid any suspicion from her. For a moment, she thought he was joking which made her take a closer look at the person talking, then noticed he looked familiar. She thought to herself “ I have seen this face somewhere before”. Well as for what he said She knew she would be best for the job. Not until she had the huge amount of money she would be paid. She had to tell me to give her some time to think about it, knowing deep down she wanted to accept the offer immediately, leaving the fact that she had no idea who she was going into the contract with. She got home, but still couldn't believe her ears. It was so surprising, that if she was to be drunk and that happened, she would conclude she was hallucinating, of course, it was too good to be true. She found the whole thing hard to believe, not only the fact that she would pay off all her debts and be financially stable for the first time in a million years. As soon as Samantha got home she called Rea, her closest friend, to inform her about the unbelievable encounter and the life-transforming proposal she got from a stranger. For a second It all sounded weird and unbelievable to Rea after she listened to the whole story Samantha told her but then she was delighted knowing what Samantha had gone through for years of trying to get back on her feet financially and she who doesn't have much to offer other than words of encouragement, and advise as her friend and this is because she had a lot on her plate as well. Life had been a living hell for them both. Samantha and Rea had been best friends right from when they were kids, for years they've gone through a lot together, it has always been hard for Samantha ever since she lost her both parents in a tragic car accident at the age of seven. Ever since the occurrence of the death of her parents, leaving her to face life reality all by herself, having no one to turn to because she was the only daughter of her parents, “ she was told”, due to the tragic death of her parents, it led to her losing some of her memories, she lost track of some of her childhood memory but completely lost track of all memories concerning the death of her parents, which left her in the dark for a very long time. Rea was brought up in an orphanage home, ever since she was a child, she had no idea if her parents were alive, or dead. She had always thought of what her parents looked like, “life was rather unfair than being fair “, she always thought. Knowing there is a lot more to her story that she had no idea about, which she had promised herself to dig deep into. It was a bright unusual Thursday morning for Samantha she woke up with a big smile on her face, it’s been ages since she had felt this way in the morning above all she felt so pretty more like she got prettier over the night, which made her walk up to the mirror that was directly above her wardrobe, she looked into the mirror and smiled savoring the positive energy she felt through the gentle breeze that blew through her silky cotton into her room. Presently everything around her was screaming positivity at this rate, her instincts were so sure she could proceed with accepting the contract marriage proposal even if she felt nervous about it. He r phone buzzed as she walked out of the bathroom, water dripping down from her body, she just finished taking her bath. She took her phone to see what message just dropped, surprisingly it was Henry. He texted to remind her about their previous discussion, Letting her know he would be waiting for her response. She smiled as she dropped her phone on the table beside her bed, now she was very sure he meant all that he had mentioned about the proposal. After some weeks of giving it so much thought, she sent Henry a message stating clearly that she was interested in the offer. Immediately after he got this Information about her agreement, he informed James, and James Told him to schedule a meeting date, so they could meet and have one-on-one discussions. James had a second thought, and told Henry to make her schedule when she feels will be comfortable for her. He then sent the message to her. Samantha responded promptly, suggesting they meet at a quiet café located at the center of the city the following evening. She was considerate by not fixing it in the morning, even if she had no clue about what he does for work exactly, she got a hint that he was a work person who of course would be busy apart from the evening after work hours. The meeting she hoped would provide clarity and, hopefully, help her understand more about what a contract marriage truly meant in practical terms. It wasn’t about love, that much she understood. But for a minute she thought to herself that it was also important to know what kind of man James was. Knowing he was just a stranger she needed proper clarification to make sure they were on the same page. The door above the café door chimed softly as Samantha stepped inside, pausing momentarily to make her eyes adjust to the warm dim lighting, as the welcoming aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air as Samantha walked into the café.
