I Wish You Were Dead

After some hours, it was already very late in afternoon. Lilo decided to visit Ella at the hospital.

“Report to my room” Lilo made a call to Antony.

“Yes boss you called for me” Antony said jokingly.

“Stop the act when last have you called me boss , sit down I need your help” Lilo said

“Oooh boss how can I be of help to you”he continued pulling his legs.

“Can't you be serious for once bro, I am going to see Ella today so I need your help, i want to make a different impression. Lilo said

“That not a big deal. Firstly, buy a bouquet of flowers for her then later you can organize fireworks for her “he said

“But will the hospital allow fireworks” Lilo asked.

“Leave that to me I will call you when everything is set” he replied

“What type of flower should I get her , I am clueless” Lilo asked

“Ooops I forgot my friend is a novice, rose would do” he said

“I should have thanked you but you just lost that to your stupid words”Lilo said and called his driver to get him a bouquet of rose flower.

Lilo arrived at the hospital few hours later and went directly to Ella's room , he met her lieing on the bed, she looked bored.

“Good evening Ella how are you feeling now” Lilo asked as he stepped into the room.

“Am getting better am just so bored” she said

“ I can see that where are the rest” he asked

“Uncle Carlos has gone to work and Alex and the twins has resumed school today they should be here at any moment it getting late already” she said

“Oooh ok it must have really been boring for you “ he said hiding the flowers at his back.

“What are you hiding at your back” she asked

“I got you some flowers I don't know if you like flowers” he asked looking tensed

“It's so nice , I love it, thank you so much sir” she said smiling and smelling the flowers.

“Am so happy you love it, would you like to get some fresh air outside “ he asked

“I would love to but the doctor said I am not strong enough to walk around, my wound asn't heal yet” she lamented.

“Don't worry , I know what to do wait for me” he said and left the room.

He came back not quite long with a wheelchair.

“Surprise! Now I can take you round the hospital” he said happily.

“Awww that so nice of you sir” she said and tries standing up, Lilo helped her and lifted her on the wheel chair.

He took her out of the room and they strolled round the hospital. Then at a point they got to a place where a small boy was crying because he doesn't want the nurse to give him injection , his parents tried calming him Down but they didn't suceed.

Ella told Lilo to take her to the kid which he did.

“Hey little boy why you crying it isn't going to hurt i promise just close your eyes and put this on your face” she gave the boy a handkerchief . The boy kept staring her.

“You see this a magic towel when you use it to clean your face all your pain and tears would disappear” she said smiling at the little boy. Lilo couldn't help but wonder how sweet and loving she is even after everything she as passed through.

Immediately she said that the boy rubbed the handkerchief on his face and noticed his tears as disappeared he smiled he continued talking to Ella the nurse seized the opportunity to give him the injection. He didn't cry or shout he just kept smiling at Ella.

“ You are a big boy now give me a shake” Ella said and shaked the boy. His parents were so happy and thanked her for helping out.

“ Thank you so much miss, your parents are so happy to have you” the mother said

“Thanks” she said and signalled Lilo to take her away she was close to tears , she remembered how lovely her family was and how they couldn't do without each other it is so painful.

Lilo stopped the wheel after some time and knee beside her

“Why are you crying Ella?” he asked looking so worried

“ Am fine, I just remembered something” she said and wiped her face with her hand.

“Is it something you can tell me about , am all ears “ he said

“I……. Miss them” she said crying profusely.

Lilo immediately hugged her and tried to calm her down.

“Shuuuuuh stop crying dear , everything would be just fine” he said pattiy her

“ How could they leave me so soon , what have I done to deserve this, the life is just so cruel to me, they both left me to this cold world , who do they think I would report Alex to when he acts cracking how am I suppose to deal with him all by myself” she said stammering and sobbing.

“Everything is going to be just fine, you have to calm down, sir Carlos is there for you, the twins are there, your brother is there and I …. Am… Nevermind everyone loves you” Lilo said feeling very sorry for her. The poor girl doesn't deserve this. He tries calming her down and eventually succeeded , he took her to the balcony as Anthony already alerted him that everything is set.

After they got to the balcony, Lilo messaged Antony that they are ready.

After some time beautiful fireworks started appearing in the sky they look so lovely and captivating.

“Wow this is so beautiful” Ella said smiling and pointing to the sky.

Lilo was so happy to see her smile definitely he knew her happiness gives him joy.

They enjoyed the view for some time then later Lilo decided to take her inside because she was shivering from cold already.

He lied her down to rest and covered her with her blacket.

“Get some rest now” he said and patted her head.

“Thank you sir”she said faintly

“ Can you please stop with the 'sir' my name is Lilo” he said he was waiting for her response when he realized she as already fallen asleep. Just then Carlos and the children came inside , they are chatting when Lilo cautioned them not to wake Ella up and they all remain calm

“Uncle Lilo how are you doing”Flourish asked

“Am fine beautiful and you , how was school today” he asked

“ Not bad” she replied and they all exchanged greetings.

“I just wanted to wait for you guys to come back I will be on my way now, here is some money you can get anything you want” he gave it to Carlos.

“You don't have to bother yourself , thanks you so much we really appreciate” he said and bid him goodbye , Lilo walked out of the room.

Jackie POV

“I want you to follow Lilo to every where he goes from now on and report back to me is that clear” Jackie told someone on the phone and hanged up.

“It not possible I can't allow that lowlife b***h take away everything I worked hard for I was the one who hitted her why is Lilo showing so much concern he asn't be calling me like he use to do and he always report here every day I can't let that continue” Jackie smirked as she peeped through her window and saw Lilo's car leaving the hospital.

“Drive on” she commanded her driver and he immediately zoomed off.

Lilo got home not quite long and went to greet his mother in her chamber, he saw her staring at a pic and move closer to her.

“Mom what are you thinking about”, he said and she immediately put the picture in her drawer

“You are back dear, am not thinking about anything my boy” she said

“I saw a pic with you earlier whose pic is that “ he asked

“Not important dear how was work today “ she tried waving is away from his mind.

“Fine mom just wanted to greet you I have to be in my room now” Lilo said and placed a light peck on her cheek and walked out.

Debbie immediately closed the door and went back to her drawer and took the picture out. It was her , Nathan's and two other people in the picture.they all looked so innocent back then. She hugged the picture tightly.

LILO's Pov

“Hello I want to get everything you need to know about Ella martins as soon as possible”he said

He remembered bribing the nurse to tell him the surname written on Ella's card.

“I have to know everything about her and how her parents died” he signed.

Not quite long a full report on Ella was sent to him on his laptop

“Wow her parents her quite rich and posh oil company that sounds familiar i will tell Antony to look into that” he said as he kept scrolling down the files sent to him.

“Wait did I just see car accident both are parents at the same day hmmmm something doesn't seems right, I have to get to the root of this matter” Lilo said and closed his laptop.

Nathan's POV

Nathan sat down in his custody glacing through the ledger sent to him from X group,He took his phone and dialed a number.

“Hello connect me with the headquarters?“he said

“Ok sir” the person replied

“Good day boss I saw the ledger you sent I will surely keep it safe, you can trust me on this boss” he said

“Make sure everything goes as planned , the lowlifes children are still alive, you can't lose guard” The voice uttered.

“The children are no where to be found and I will make sure they don't get in our way they are still small by the way they can't do anything”he responded

“You can't be too sure, I don't what any mistake” The voice echoed and hanged up.

Nathan signed.

“I have to keep this ledger safe with me no one should ever find out” he said and shifted one of his picture placed on the wall and a door opened he went inside and placed the ledger inside one of the drawers in the room and went out of the hidden room, the door closed behind him.

The next day

Lilo didn't wait for breakfast, he went straight to his office and called Antony to join him.

“What popping man! You have to tell me how it went yesterday”Antony said jokingly

“That not the issue here I will tell you about that later, I want you to look into a company named posh oil I think I have heard of it before” he told him

“Posh oil it really sounds familiar i will look into it but what is it for?” Antony asked

“Just do the damn work and stop asking me questions I will tell you when you get me what I asked for”he said

“Ok if you say so” he replied and leaved the office.

Few minutes later, Antony came back with the full report on posh oil company and placed it on his table. Lilo quickly glaced through it and saw that they were once a partner with posh oil

“I knew it , that name looks so familiar so this is the posh oil that Dad was always talking about . Ella and her brother are from a very wealthy family why are they living like that and there is definitely more to her parents death because as far as I can remember mr Sebastian was the one who brought the blue ville suggestion and he was so suppose to have a meeting with my dad so as to discuss how to handle this big project but unfortunately I heard he and his wife had an accident just before the day of the meeting, don't you find that weird”. Lilo asked Antony

“Yes you are right , there is more to there death I think someone planned it” Antony said

“We would have to get to the root of this matter” Lilo said and called his private investigator.

“I want you to get everything possible about Mr Sebastian and his wife death”he commanded and hanged up.

“Aren't you hungry let get something to eat at the cafe”Antony suggested.

“I am not hungry you can go yourself” he replied looking moody

“Suit yourself”he replied and went out of the office.

Lilo kept thinking about Ella and the pains she went through

“Dont worry Ella , I will make sure I get to the root of this matter , you will surely get justice for your parents death that I promise you” he said to himself.
