Later that day, Lilo visited Ella at the hospital, she is quite better and the doctor said if she continues to improve like that she might be discharged by weekend. This is a very good news. Lilo didn't spend more time at the hospital because he had something to attend to.

Jackie POV

“Hello boss, he just came out of the hospital , should I follow him?“ The guy asked.

“Nevermind he must be heading home, thanks for the update” she said and hanged up.

“Hmmmm so he is visiting her, I have to find something to do with that b***h , she looks very cunny , I have to take care of her very fast before she takes away my man” she smirked.

Lilo POV

Lilo didn't head home straight, he went to Antony's place.

“ Gush! Why is your house so messy like this, how can you have a girlfriend at this state, imagine your shirt on the chair” Lilo kept scolding Antony.

“If you can't cope , kindly vacate yourself from my premise” he said and threw a pillow at him.

“It's for your own good man, ok come here i have something important to discuss with you” he sat down on one of the cusine chairs in the sitting room. Antony quickly sat down next to him.

“My private eye sent me some clue that could help us to find out what actually happened on the day of the accident” he said and opened his laptop.

“This is the CCTV footage of where Mrs martins parked her car at the garage in the airport when she went to pick her husband up”. Lilo played the footage and they both watched with full concentration.

“Wait!! Stroll back I think I saw something now” Antony said and Lilo reversed the footage back.

A man wearing a cap and on mask came into the garage with a bag , he quickly went to Mrs martins car and lied under the car not quite long he came out and walked away. Lilo paused the footage and looked Antony they both knew what that means already. The man tampered with the brake of the car which means the accident was a planned work, someone wanted them died.

But who? And why ? Those are the big questions.

Lilo and Antony kept delibrately on the Matter and how to get the man who did the job atleast getting the man would lead them to the real culprit.

“Can you play the footage again it like I saw a tattoo on his right hand” Anthony said and Lilo played the video.

“Yes! Stop there can you zoom it so we can have a clear picture of the tattoo”he asked. Lilo did as he was told.

“Hmmm I think we should investigate this tattoo , the guy might belong to some dangerous group “ Anthony suggested.

“I think you are right I will tell my private eye to do that” Lilo replied.

They chatted for some time and Lilo decided to go home later on. He got home very late at night and went straight to his room to rest.

Next day

Lilo woked up very late and decided to take a off from work that Friday. He came out of his room and went to the dining room he saw his father having breakfast and all dressed up.

“Good morning Dad" he greeted his father

“How was your night “ he asked

“Fine dad, by the way are you going somewhere” he asked

“Yes I have an important meeting to catch up with” he said and immediately stood up from his seat.

“Meeting? But as far as I can remember we don't have any major meeting in office today” he asked a little bit baffled.

“This is personal meeting , so don't bother yourself I will take my leave now” he said and leaved the house.

Lilo kept wondering what meeting his father was talking about , he later waved it as he saw his mother come into the dinning room.

“Good morning Mom ,i hope you slept well” he asked

“ Yes my dear you came home very late last night that unlike you” she said

“Yes Mom sorry about that, I had to attend to some unfinished jobs” he explained.

“Hmmm what have you being up to this days boy I know you hiding something from me” she asked showing her suspicion

“Mom I am working on a project I will tell you everything when I get to the root of the matter” he assured her

“Ok if you say so I wish you success in all your endeavors” she prayed for him

“Amen thanks Mom am really quite hungry what are we having for breakfast” he asked

“Anything my boy wants I will tell the chef to get it done” she said

“Hmmm white rice with sauce and beef that should do” he said

“Considered it done” she replied and proceeded to the kitchen.

Nathan's POV

He got to the meeting, it was held in a very big building in a very recruit environment secured with guards. The all members of x group were all sitted for this meeting.

After some minutes an old man came in and sat down in the front sitting facing the crowd

“Good day everyone, I welcome you all to x group as you all know that our mission is to expand our company and make more funds, this country must be under our control, so as you all know we decided to go into crude oil production which we will be selling to people we all know this oil is contaminated and could cause danger to people but who cares as far as we make our money and thankfully we have being able to take care of our obstacles our first production will start next month” The man uttered and they all clapped for him. After the meeting the members were handed an envelope filled with money for attending the meeting.

Later that day, Lilo decided to go hospital to see Ella, he actually missed her alot.he arrived at the hospital and held to her room.

He met her watching movie on the laptop. Lilo told her driver to deliver a Brand New laptop to Ella he noticed she was always bored when the rest are not around.

“Good evening Mr Lilo , thank you so much I really appreciate , your driver brought the laptop obviously that what am using” she said and they both laughed.

“Don't mention I just thought you needed something to keep you busy” he replied

“That so thoughtful of you sir” she replied and asked him to sit down because Lilo kept staring at her which looks weird.

“Gush Ella is so adorable and she as an pure heart , I will make sure you get what you actually deserve” Lilo kept thinking when he noticed Ella as been calling him.

“What are you thinking sir you look so carried away is it something you can share with me” she asked

Lilo kept looking at her and eventually answered her.

“I am fine it just that there is something going up in my mind and head that I am trying to figure out it something I have to deal with myself “ he replied.

“Hmmm if you say so” she responded she stood from her bed to get her phone from the table just then she missed her steps and she slipped but fortunately Lilo head her by her waist and prevented her from falling down.

For some minutes they both kept staring at each other. Lilo heart kept pounding very fast he was losing his mind already, he kept imagining things he shouldn't. Just then Ella tapped him and he composed himself, he let go of her and helped her to her bed.

“Thanks for helping me I would have landed on the floor if not for you “ she showed her appreciation. Just then her stomach grumbled she quickly head it to prevent Lilo from hearing.

“ I heard that there is a cafe in the hospital why don't we get something to eat there, I haven't tried there food so I don't know how good or bad it is”he said

“Don't worry sir , you have tried alot for me am sure uncle Carlos would be here at any minute” she replied

“ I insist you have to follow me”Lilo persuaded her and finally convinced her.

He helped her to get stand up from the bed and they both went to the cafe.

The food at the cafe was actually delicious and Lilo could tell for a fact that Ella was enjoying it. He kept staring at her and admiring her beauty as she ate.

“Why you staring at me like that, is there something weird on my face”she asked

“There is something at the side of your mouth” Lilo pointed to her but she didn't get it so he helped her got rid of the stain in her mouth.

Ella wasn't expecting this, she kept staring at him.

“Here you go, I have gotten rid of it”Lilo said and she immediately came back from her fantasy.

“Thanks” she replied scratching her head she does this anytime she is nervous.

Jackie POV

She decided to visit the hospital when her private eye informed her that Lilo is at the hospital. She got there not quite long and went straight to Ella's room. She didn't met them there and decided to ask around .

“Excuse me please did you at any point saw the girl in this room around she is with a tall guy like this” she asked one of the passer-bys

“I think I saw them go in the direction of the cafe” he pointed the direction to her. She thanked the man and proceeded to the cafe. She saw them sitting not too far from her. Jealousy and anger were all written on her face

“How could Lilo derive so much joy when talking to that bastard, he as never smiled at me like that before, this is really going too far” she thought and went back to wait for them in the room.

Not long after, Lilo and Ella came back to the room and saw Jackie sitting on a chair pressing her phone.

“Ella , when did you get here” Lilo asked surprised

“Not quite long, just decided to pay a visit to Ella and check how she is doing” she replied

“Thank you ma, am getting better , the doctor even said I could be discharged tomorrow “ Ella said

“That good to hear, so when did you guys went to?” she asked

“We were at the cafeteria, what wrong with you , you look angry” Lilo asked

“Nothing, just stressed out that all” she replied

Carlos and the kids came not quite long.

“ Good evening Miss Jackie” Carlos greeted her

“ How have you been sir, I just decided to visit Ella and see how she doing” Jackie said

“What do expect, do you want her died” alex murmured .

No one heard what he said apart from Lilo who he sat down close to.

Not quite long Jackie bid them goodbye and wished Ella quick recovery even though deep down she knew what she wanted.

She left the hospital called her private eye to make research and get everything possible about her.

“I have to know everything about that b***h” she smirked and walked to her car.

Not quite long the doctor came to check up on Ella and concluded that she would be discharged tomorrow.

Lilo waited behind for some time and chatted with the kids. When he saw it was getting late already he announced his departure.

“I will be taking my leave now I will come tomorrow to take you guys home” he said

“Is that really necessary ,am strong enough I can go home myself”Ella uttered

“The doctor said you should not stress yourself so I want to see to that” he said and proceeded outside Alex escorted him out of the hospital.

“Alex I heard what you said earlier about Jackie, why did you say that” he asked curious to know why Alex would say such about Jackie

“I just think she is a hidden serpent, j don't like her at all , she behaves all kind but something telling me she is a bad person” Alex spoked

“But that is not enough reason to say that , you can't judge a person base on your assumptions, she is actually a very nice person , you will get to like her eventually” Lilo said

“I doubt that” he replied and bid Lilo goodbye.

LILO's POV

“Alex doesn't look like someone that could just say something about someone like that, but I don't think Jackie is capable of doing anything stupid.I knew her quite well although she may look unfriendly but she doesn't mean harm”he thought as he drove home.

He got home not quite long and went to his mom chamber to greet her.

“Good evening mom” he said as he hugged her from behind

“How was your day son” she asked

“Nice is dad not back yet?”he asked her.

“Yes dear” she replied

“What sort of meeting did dad went for that he isn't back yet” Lilo thought. he chatted with her for some time before proceeding to his room.

Nathan arrived home not quite long and went to his study. He opened his secret room and went inside, he took the ledger out and sat down on a chair in the room.

“You thought you were smart but unfortunately for you I outsmarted you, if when we were friends back in school you always thought you were the best but now who is the winner you are now where you ought to be” he laughed devilishly. He held some footstep and immediately came out of the room.

Just then Debbie came inside the study and met him sitting on his chair. It was a very close one. He signed

“Where did you go to since morning” she asked

“I went for a meeting with the x group he replied

“x group, what exactly his your connection with those people” she asked looking confused

“See Debbie I am not in the moody for your nagging if you don't have anything else to say leave my study please” he said frankly

“Nathan I hope you are not into anything dangerous again the one you did , my heart still aches anytime I think about it” she said touching her chest.

“You were not supposed to know about that if not because you were so stobborn , please it as being a long day for me I would like to rest” he said

Debbie signed and went out of the room.

Next morning

“Beep! Beep! Beep!“ Lilo phone kept ringing”

“Who is that disturbing me very early in the morning” Lilo murmured and picked up his phone.

“Hello” Lilo speaking

“Dude! Didn't you check your screen your private eye said he called you several times you didn't pick, I have a important news for you” Anthony said. Immediately Lilo stood up

“Yes what is that” he asked curiously

“The man who tampered with the car is from a group called fx, this group is one of the most dangerous group in this country , they are all ex-convicts , it will be really hard tracking him down”. Anthony said

“I will be with you shortly , there should be a way to track him” he said and quickly stood up to dressed up
