Don't get hurt

Lilo arrived at the hotel few hours later and decided to check what Manfred company is all about. He found out that there is no company of such, meaning he lied to his Grandma.

“The guy is really a terrorist , how could he lie to his poor grandma that he works in a company that doesn't even exist. But there should be something that could lead me to him , he can't clear everything about him just like that”Lilo said and checked his file once again to see if he could get any clue about his whereabouts.

“ wait this environment looks familiar it's somewhere in Manila” Lilo took the guy's picture and called Sammy to look into the area for him.

Few minutes later Sammy gave him feedback that the area is in Chinatown

“Chinatown so he is in Chinatown I have to go back to Manila as soon as possible” he called his secretary to book a flight back to Manila for him.

The next day Lilo arrived in Manila and went to Anthony's place to inform him about the new development

“I really wasted my time going to begium , you won't believe this guy lied to his grandma that he works at Manfred which doesn't exist,I have never heard of such company before” Lilo explained his experience at begium

“What do you expect from a murderer like him to be trustworthy, he is a hired criminal I don't expect less” Anthony said

“I think he stays at Chinatown because one of the pictures Sammy sent me most of it were taken at that area meaning we can get a clue to him there”Lilo said

“It's possible” Anthony replied

“How is Ella doing, did she called you?” Lilo asked concerned about her

“No she didn't but I guess she is fine now someone told me she resumed work today so she must be doing well to have resumed” Anthony said

Lilo signed looking worried about Ella.

“is she really fit to resume work” he thought

Ella's POV

She arrived to work to met her greatest shock.

“Ella!, where have you being all this while ” Vivian walked up to her

“I had an accident so I had to stay in the hospital for some days am so sorry but my uncle came around, didn't you get see him” Ella asked

“Not at all I didn't see anyone” she replied

“I have to go see the manager” Ella said and went to her office

On getting to her office she met her receiving a call.

“Ok ma I will do just that” she said and hanged up her call.

“Good morning Ella how are you feeling now” she asked

“Much better ma” she replied

“See Ella , I don't have anything against you infact I like you alot but unfortunately you can't work here any more” she said feeling pity for her but there is nothing she could do about it

“ Ma…. I still don't understand I can't do what…. Why ma…. Did I do something wrong am sorry ma … please don't do this to me…” she went down on her knees even with her leg injuries not fully healed

“ If it was left to me I don't want to fire you but this is beyond my control this restaurant isn't doing too good so we are trying to minimize our staff intaken in order to balance everything up am so sorry Ella” she said

Ella wiped her face and stood up.

“Thank you so much ma” she said and walked out of her office with her leg bleeding

Vivian saw her bleeding and quickly rushed to her

“Ella what the Matter , did something happened in there and why is your leg bleeding” she asked her looking worried

“ She said my services are no longer needed”Ella said walked out of the restaurant.

She kept walking not knowing where she was heading too the pain she was feeling was too much for her to bear she didn't even feel the pain from her leg. Her leg kept bleeding as she continues walking non-stop.

Lilo's POV

“Man I have to get to somewhere see you later at the office” Lilo said and rushed out of the house

He head to Ella's place of work , his mind isn't at ease the fact that she went to work even when she asn't fully recovered makes him so worried.

He arrived at the restaurant and search for Ella but he couldn't find her so he asked about her whereabouts from her friend Vivian.

“Good morning please have you seen Ella around I really need to speak with her” Lilo asked

“Ella! She just left a while ago she looks so depressed she said the manager said her services are no longer needed and she walked out of the restaur……”Vivian asn't finished her words as Lilo rushed out of the restaurant into his car in search for Ella.

“Ella don't do anything bad to yourself I beg of you” Lilo kept thinking as he drove off without even knowing where he was heading to.

Ella's POV

“My life is so miserable,how am I going to take care of Alex , I am such a worthless sister how could I not be able to keep a job , i am so useless” Ella kept saying to herself crying profusely as she walked on without a destination.

Lilo on the other hand called Sammy to track Ella's phone to know her location.

“Boss the number you gave me is at waterfall area” Sammy said and Lilo quickly turned his car to that direction.

Ella kept walking and blood kept dropping from her leg. She didn't even take note of cars coming.

Not quite long Lilo saw her from afar and speed up to met up with her. He got close to her and stopped the car.

“Ella stop!“ Lilo shouted her name but she didn't even turn back. As Lilo moved close to her she fell to his hands

“Ella open your eyes!“ Lilo quickly carried her into his car and head to the hospital.

He got to the hospital not quite long and she was rushed inside.

“God please keep her safe , nothing must happen to her” Lilo kept praying to God.

Few minutes later the doctor kept out and Lilo quickly rushed to him.

“Doc how is she doing”he asked feeling tensed

“ She is fine now thank God you came just in time the bleeding isn't that much and everything is under control now” the doctor said

“Can I see her now” he asked and the doctor gave him an approval he quickly went inside.

he met her staring at the ceiling she looks so hurts and dejected.

“Ella why did you do this to yourself because your boss said she doesn't want you anymore isn't the end of life, how do you want Alex and the rest to feel when they hear you are at the hospital again” Lilo asked

“I just felt that am a failure my life isn't going the way I wanted” Ella said sobbing

“Stop crying Ella I hate seeing you cry you don't deserve this and I promise I am going to make everything right , you see I want you to continue your education don't worry about the expenses I will take care of that , I will also take care of Alex , uncle Carlos and the twins you don't have to worry about anything” Lilo promised

“You don't have to, it's my responsibility to take care of my brother, I don't want to be a burden to you and i don't even know you that well why are you so kind to me” Ella asked

“You not a burden to me , I chose to help you because I wanted to and the reason I am doing this for you isn't clear to me yet because am trying to figure everything out but I think you really a good kid” Lilo said

“Thank you sir , when did the doctor says I can leave” Ella asked

“I haven't asked him yet but I think you should be able to leave today” he replied

“Please don't tell my family about this especially Alex I don't want them worrying about me” Ella pleaded

“Ok no prob I won't tell them only if you promise never to do that to yourself again” Lilo asked

“Ok fine I promise” Ella said smiling at him

Few hours later, Ella was discharged and Lilo drove her home

Lilo escorted her inside the house to make sure everything is fine before he left.

“Do you need anything have you eaten anything this morning” Lilo asked as Ella sat down on the chair in the sitting room

“Yes I ate some bread this morning” Ella replied

“Am sure you must be hungry , anything at home” Lilo asked

“ We have some noodles in the cupboard” she replied as she walked to th Kitchen , Lilo followed her.

Ella brought out the noodles and Lilo collected it from her.

“Let me cook that,am not so good at cooking but i will try my best” Lilo said and rolled his shirt.

“Hmm you know you don't have to bother yourself I can do that myself” she said

“I insist” he said and started the cooking.

Lilo finished cooking the indomie and served her.

“ Please be very sincere with your comment how is it” Lilo said anxious to know if the indomie was good. Ella tasted the indomie and smiled.

“It not that bad, you tried for someone who doesn't go to the kitchen” she said

“Hmmm I don't go to the kitchen I only learnt how to make noodles when I went to my grandma's place for holidays” he said

“My mom would always force me to the kitchen anytime she cooks, I have to be there even though we could afford to get a house help she didn't get it because she wanted me to know the basics and later I kind of enjoyed it”Ella said smiling and sad at the same time.

Lilo checked the time and it was past 2 he has to get to the office as soon as possible

“Am so sorry Ella I have to go now I really have to be at the office as soon as possible , take care of yourself and call me if there is any problem”he said and bid her goodbye

Lilo got the office not quite long and went straight to his office to find his dad there.

“Good afternoon Dad, you didn't tell me you were coming” he said looking surprised

“ So I can't come to my own company again” he asked

“You know I didn't mean it that way dad” Lilo replied

“So Anthony told me you spent the night in his place” Nathan asked

“Yes dad I was so tired yesterday so I decided to pass the night in his residence” Lilo said and kept thanking Anthony in his mind for saving his ass.

“Oooh so where are you coming from now” he asked

“ I went to see one of our staff who got admitted to the hospital”he said

“You such a nice boss I wish Jackie could see this side of you”Nathan said

“Dad are you still on this I thought I told you already that it not possible”he said frankly

“Jackie's and her parents are coming to the house tomorrow evening make yourself available” he said and went out of the office

Anthony entered immediately he left.

“I don't know why dad is forcing this, I can't marry Jackie , she is more like a sister to me” Lilo said

“You know how your dad could be am sure he won't backoff easily” Anthony said

“I know that he is just too stobborn” Lilo talked back.

“less I forgot Ella as being kicked out of the restaurant for some reasons her services asn't needed again” Lilo explained to Anthony

“Hmmmm why all of a sudden”Anthony asked

“I have no idea well I told her i wants her to continue her studies she is a very smart girl” Lilo said smiling

“Hmmmm I think it's Jackie that would have Ella fired, she likes Lilo alot and even when they were in school she always chase all other girls from him but Lilo didn't noticed that she likes him, Lilo wouldn't believe it if i told him I suspect Jackie in having hand in Ella's losing her job, Lilo is just so ignorant of things happening in his environment” Anthony thought.
