"Your mate?" asked Vicki, frowning and staring at me, "Don't tell me your mate is Hannah."
"I don't want to lie to you, but she is." I confessed the fact to her.
"Do you want to tag her?" Vicki got up, and she looked like a hen spreading her wings to protect her young, and I was standing in front of her like an eagle attacking them.
"No." I sounded frustrated, "I can't tag her because I'm a lone wolf."
"Lone wolf?" Vicki said, "Lonely for life, no family, no mate."
"So even you know the fate of a lone wolf." I laughed bitterly, and Rex was right, everyone knows what the fate of a lone wolf is.
"So, Hannah summoned you because she's your mate," Vicki said as realization dawned on her, "That's what werewolves call telepathy."
