“Hey, what are you saying that you let her go just like that?”. William asked Jack, William is Jack's only friend.
“What do you expect me to do to her in public, huh what”
“Out least you would have given her a sounding slap, I know I am not supposed to tell you all this”
“Am glad you do, I never left the restaurant tho. I hid to see what she was gonna do after I left.”
“She started licking my ice cream. I bought it for over 200 dollars, and she licked it for free, can you imagine that? She is already on my bad list” finally finished.
“At least you know what to do”
“Yeah, she gonna pay”
A Bridge in New York
Ashley is currently on her neels, her face swollen, as a result of how much she has cried.
“Why would you do such a thing to me, you know how many part-time jobs I did to get that money.” She yelled weakly.
“I just wanted to make you happy, but I don't have cash with me so I decided to use your card. I am so sorry.” Mickey replied with guilt.
“Where is My card, give it to me,” she said in a painful way getting up from the ground,” she walked towards Mickey.
“Am so sorry, please forgive me” she said, giving her the card.
“Thanks for making my day bad, she gave a fake smile, and left”.
“What have I done? No this can't happen.” Mickey said regretfully.
Ashley's Apartment
When she arrived home, she went straight to her bed, sat down, and hugged her pillow to herself.
“I miss you, Dad, I miss you, sis, please come back to me”. She lamented sadly
She entered the bathroom and had her bath went into the room and put on her nightwear. She lay down in her bed and she remembered the handsome guy from the restaurant.
A smile crept into her face without her knowledge, and she dozed off to sleep.
The Lucas' Family Mansion
Donald and Juliette are in the sitting room, watching a romantic movie.
Donald hugged Juliette to himself, very tight.
“Honey what's going on why are you hugging me so tight” she asked worriedly
“It's because of me, nothing else,” Jack said from the door.
“Oh you are home come here,” she broke free from Donald and embraced Jack herself. Have miss you” she said
“Am here now Mom” he replied.
“Donald suddenly yanks Jack from Juliette and hugs Jack. Have missed you son” he said loudly to Juliette hearing. Without waiting for his response, he dragged him upstairs.
“I want to show him something upstairs, will be back shortly,” he told Juliette with a smile on his face.
“Alright” she replied
They got upstairs and Donald fired his question immediately.
“I thought you said you were not coming back today”
“Well I changed my mind” Jack replied
“You are going back this minute. I want to spend time with my wife,” he said seriously.
“Alright, but you have to bribe me,” Jack said
“Let me quickly transfer 5500 dollars to your account,” he said getting his phone
“Not $5500 but $10000,” Jack said
“No way I sent you $50000 just yesterday,” he said looking hopeless
“Then forget it, let me go and meet my Mom,” he said in a way to change Donald's mind.
“Wait, I have sent it, " he said, showing the receipt. “If you ever come back am going to kill you,” he said angrily
“Jack winked at him and started working away.”
“He got downstairs and met his mother, sleeping already, he looked at her one last time and worked out of the house”
Ashley's Apartment
“I need to tidy everything in this house, it's been six years.”
She started packing All her father's clothes outside, then she went to her sister's room and began packing her clothes outside, to burn. She suddenly stumbled on a box, what was in that box?
She asked no one in particular, she opened the box and the first thing her eyes caught was her late sister's certificate.
At first, she wanted to burn it, then an idea struck her mind. No that's not right here subconscious mind said
“Well it is not right that I am suffering or is it. No, I love you sister, rest in perfect peace”.
I must celebrate this, but first I am no longer burning anything.
She went outside and started packing all the clothes back inside.

Ashley entered wearing a hoodie. It was so cold outside, that she went straight to the attendant and gave the certificate and documents. “I want you to change that name to Ashley Brenda and that photo to My photo,” She said
“It cost 110 dollars,” the attendant replied.
“Don't worry, go ahead, let me quickly Make a transfer.” She replied
“She logged in to her bank account, expecting to see $210 but it was $110 remaining.”
That was when she remembered yesterday's event how Mickey used her money, she almost screamed.
“Hey madam, here is your certificate, have you made the transfer?” the attendant asked
How was she going to explain that it was her last money? “Emm, let me quickly transfer it" she said, trying to hold back her tears, after making the transfer she left, heading towards Mickey's apartment, which would be a four-hour journey on foot. She is gonna feed me from now on till I get a good job, she thought.
“She was still in her thought when she bumped into a hard chest”
She started falling hoping for whoever it was to catch her, but she hit her ass on the floor.
“The author moaned in pain, she got up and faced the person who let her fall. It happened to be the handsome guy from the ice cream restaurant.”

No response came from him, and he was glaring at Ashley.
“Alright, I know you are a jerk, but don't you watch movies? If two people bump into each other, the boy catches the girl from falling.” “I hope I am clear don't try this again,” she said in a shaky voice. She was beginning to get scared.
Still no response, so she decided to walk away. Her legs were failing her because they were shaking so badly. She managed to maintain her balance when he grabbed her hand.
“So you think you can get away after licking an ice cream worth $200, huh?" he asked her coldly. Grabbing her neck this time”
“How is it my fault you left it there, and I decided to help you finish it.” She replied with difficulty
“You think I'm joking right,” Jack asked.
“No sir,” she replied.
He was about to talk when he noticed Ashley was looking at something else, so he decided to look at where she was looking only to find nothing.
He turned back to see her eyes closed, he quickly released her, and she fell lifelessly. No, I can't kill someone, he began sweating and he removed his suit and in the process, his money fell on Ashley's body.
As soon as Ashley's body came in contact with the money in bundles, she quickly got up and packed the money and she ran as fast as her leg could carry her.
No, she fooled me again, he quickly got into his car and began chasing Ashley who is a mad runner.
She was so fast, that Jack began to wonder if she ran for a living.
“Wait up taxi” Ashley shouted, the taxi driver stopped and she jumped in. She directed the driver to Mickey's Apartment. So she looked in the side mirror to see Jack's cars still following her. She started counting the money and it was $20,000. “Wow, I am so rich,” she screamed
They arrived at Mickey's Apartment and the taxi driver stopped, she paid him, and stood in front of the apartment waiting for Jack's car.
As Jack saw her he stopped the car and went to meet her. “Can I have my money?” he asked.
“Here is your money cold devil” She handed the money to him and started walking towards the house.
“What did you just call me”
“Bang” closed on his face.
What type of girl is this, he wondered walking towards his car, he sat down and drove off.
Back To Mickey's Apartment
Mickey held her chest, Ashley had been glaring at her since she came in. Thanks to her door which she always forgets to lock.
“Go dress let's go shopping” Mickey's suddenly said
“I thought you didn't have money,” she said a bit awkwardly.
“I just found some money from the same guy at the restaurant, and I ran with it, he chased me, I stylishly divided it into two, I took half and gave him the other half. and that is for stressing my legs”.
“What if he comes back for his money?” Mickey asked, her voice breaking.
“He won't, and don't worry I have forgiven you. So hurry, go get dressed, and let's move,” she said
Mickey quickly hugged her “am so sorry okay? I won't try that next time.
“Good for now go”
A Shopping Mall
Ashley and Mickey just arrived.
Note we are spending $1000 so pick anything you want.
They got in and took a basket. They started moving around picking as many as they wanted.
Everything cost $700, Ashley paid for the things and they left. After dropping what they bought in Mickey's Apartment.
They decided to go to a pizza store.
A Mall
Jack just finished picking some food items. And walk to the cashier to get the price of everything he just bought.
“Sir, your price is $20,000,” The cashier said.
“Alright, " he said, and deep in his hand in his pocket, he brought out the bundle of money. Here he handled it to the cashier
After the cashier finished counting, she faced him and said “Sir it's just $10,000”.
And he immediately remembered how Ashley gave him the money willingly.
He quickly made a transfer of the remaining money to the cashier. He packed his things furiously and stormed into his car driving straight to the house she entered.

After Mickey and Ashley came back, they noticed someone in front of
Mickey's door and it was dark.
“Hey who are you” Mickey asked
She turned on her flashlight and the face came into view. It was Jack.
“Where's my money” he asked facing Ashley
And Ashley froze on her spot!
