I took Trixie back to the room we stayed in last night while I went to fetch us some food. After I had told her how I felt, she seemed lost. I know human men tend not to show any feelings or block them all out. We wolves don't really have a choice. We feel it even if we don't want to. You can try to ignore it and put on a brave face, but eventually, you will crack.
Especially when it comes to our mates, I'm afraid she will never understand the connection I have to her. The only thing I can do is try to show her how I feel. I didn't care what the cost was, I wanted her to be happy here.
