Alejandro and Martha are not working today even though it is Monday.
They decided to rest and spend some time together.
They have been watching a series on Novelas TV for a while.
Martha sees a scene that makes her so sad and she zaps the channel.
- I don't want to watch this show anymore," she says in a sad voice.
- Why not? Alejandro asks her. You decided to put it on.
- Damien darling! Damien doesn't love me! He can't even call me "mom", just like that kid in the show! You see he doesn't like his mother-in-law!
Alejandro sighs, breathes deeply and takes her in his arms then, caresses her light hair and tells her:
- Don't tell me you're going to bring up that subject again Martha, please!
- Are you by any chance defending Damien and Monica?
He steps back slightly and retorts:
- Please stop! This has nothing to do with Monica! Damien is a big boy you understand, we have to let him do what he wants! This problem is banal Martha, it's banal! His biological mother is Monica and you are his stepmother! Besides, he grew up with Monica and me before you came along! He still hasn't digested that, you know? Calm down and let things happen naturally!
- Naturally you say? We've been together for years! I saw him grow up, Alejandro! I raised him and you know it! For me he is my son and a son calls his mother "mom" and not by her name!
Alejandro stands up, looks at Martha who is sitting down and says to her in a very calm voice:
- Novelas are not my thing but if I agreed to watch one, it's for love of my wife but as she can't stop ruining everything, I'm going to go to bed because I'm tired of it!!!!
He goes straight to the bedroom and Martha follows him...
- Alejandro! alejandro! alejandro!
He enters the room and lies down on the bed. She enters too, but she stays up and says to him with a sad voice:
- I just want you to understand me my love! I boast everywhere that I have a son but when we are in front of people, he calls me "Martha".
When she finishes speaking, she bursts into tears.
He stands up and takes her in his arms.
- I understand you, you know! I know that you love him and consider him as your legitimate son and that's why when he calls you by your name, you feel uncomfortable. I understand you my darling but as I said, he is a big boy, you understand? He is 22 years old and it is not by forcing him that he will accept to call you by your name...
Then, he shifts slightly and wipes his tears delicately before making him a kiss on the forehead.
- Thank you my love! Thank you for understanding me!
- You're welcome my darling!
- Shall we continue to see the show?
Alejandro jumps and falls on the bed and puts the blanket on him.
- I was really into it, but you've ruined it for me, Martha, so you're going to continue it without me! Don't forget to close the door on your way out please!
Suddenly, she starts smiling at him before jumping on the bed and starting to kiss him. They make love...

*Lucia Room - Nola.
- It's been a while since Damien finished talking on the phone, but what's he still doing sitting on the lawns?
- He's getting some air, Lucia! Can't you tell?
- I see him sitting, it is not written on his forehead that he takes air!
Nola laughs then, takes his pillow and aims it with.
- Do you want to play that?
- No, I'm tired! Tomorrow classes start, I have to rest!
She puts her phone on the bedside table and goes to sleep.
- You're leaving me alone? No, it's okay! I'll go see Rafael!
She sends a message to Rafael asking him where he is. He tells her he's in his room with his roommate.
- Is he cool?
- Ah, he's fine, I'm not complaining yet!
- How about going to the yard to get some fresh air?
- This is a great idea Lucia!
- Alright, let's meet downstairs then!
She goes downstairs and while waiting for Rafael to come, she goes to sit next to Damien who is sitting on the grass, all calm.
- Hey you, what are you doing here?
He is startled.
- Ah, there you are! I'm just getting some air, you know classes start tomorrow.
Lucia puts her arm around his shoulders.
- I have the impression that you have a problem my love! Usually you are strong, but now you seem to be sick! What is wrong with you?
He kisses her on the forehead and then he stops his hand and says to her with a tender voice:
- Everything is fine Lucia, okay princess?
- Okay, I believe you! But where is Rafael? I've been waiting for him for a while!
- Ah, I don't know!
While waiting for Rafael, Lucia asks him to tell her about the teachers and their behaviors so as not to be surprised later and he does so.
Meanwhile, Adrianna wants to go to Julio but she doesn't know if it's allowed for girls to go to the boys' building so she asks Emily if she knows anything about it:
- Normally it's allowed during the day! But during the evening, only those who have brothers and sisters in the other building can go to see them.
Adrianna smiles:
- Ah, I see, thanks Emily, I have to go there!
- Okay Adrianna!
They both look at each other and smile.
Adrianna grabs her phone and sends a message to her brother to let him know she's on her way, then she grabs her guitar and leaves the room.
Meanwhile downstairs, in the middle of the girls' and boys' building, Rafael, this not very tall, black and slightly muscular boy joins Lucia and Damien!
- Hey, I'm here!
- Come and sit down my friend, says Lucia!
He sits down and does not hesitate to greet Damien.
- Hey Damien, how are you? It's been a long time!
- Yes, I'm fine, thanks! What have you become?
- Ah, I'm fine! Life goes on! I'm still single but...
Everyone starts laughing and sure enough, Adrianna walks out of the building and crosses without looking at anyone. She goes to the other building!
Everyone stops laughing and Lucia says:
- Ah, she goes to see her boyfriend!
- The one from this morning? Rafael asks her!
- Yes, yes!
- They seem to love each other like you and Damien! Isn't that right, Damien?
Damien doesn't answer because his thoughts are a bit scattered. Lucia notices this and pats his shoulders.
- Damien! But, what is wrong all of a sudden?
- Nothing princess, everything is fine! Who was that talking?
She looked at Rafael with a surprised look and he did the same.
- It's me, Damien," Rafael replies. I was saying that these two seem to love each other very much, like you and Lucia do!
- Oh, I see! Yes, yes, I love Lucia and she loves me too! Isn't it so, princess?
He pretends to smile.
- Yes my love!
While they are talking, Adrianna arrives in front of her brother's door and knocks then, he opens the door.
- Ah, you came with the guitar! Go in Adrianna!
- Yes, I want us to sing, big brother!
She enters and he closes the door.
- We can sing, but in a low voice to avoid disturbing the others.
- Yes, you are right!
Julio sits on his bed and Adrianna sits on the bed opposite: the one near the window. You can see her from the corridor when the door is open.
She puts her guitar on the floor and says:
- So, do you like your room?
- Of course I like it! It's quite spacious, I can even do push-ups on the floor!
He throws himself on the floor and starts doing push-ups and Adrianna counts them, laughing.
- Haha! Uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis , siete, ocho, nueve, diez... Veinte...
He does fifty push-ups and gets up.
- You see it? That's great! I have to take a nice shower afterwards!
- Oh yeah, you have to! Take a breath and let's sing, okay?
- Yes, I will!
Meanwhile, she takes the guitar out of the bag and positions it well in her hands.
- I'm ready, says Julio!
Without delay, she begins to play the instrumental with the guitar.
On the course, Lucia decides to return to her room to take a nap like her best friend Nola. She kisses Damien before going. Rafael, knowing that he is not too close to Damien and that what binds them is Lucia, decides to go back to his room since he doesn't know what they are going to talk about and he knows that Damien never has much to say to him.
Damien then remains alone in the yard. He wants to go to his room but he saw Adrianna passing by so he knows that she is there with her boyfriend Julio since he thinks that they are in couple as Lucia and Rafael said.
He doesn't want to disturb them so he just stands there and fiddles with his phone except he notices that the sky is getting darker and also that thunder is rumbling. "Oh no, it's going to rain" he says in his heart and when he says it, it starts to rain. He then gets up quickly and goes to his building. When he arrives at the door singing, he follows two voices that are singing and these voices are singing his favorite song sung by Amaral, his favorite singer who is also Adrianna's, Monica's and many others. She is a singer who has a good reputation because she sings well.
He stays outside the door and listens to them sing.
Amaral: Sin ti no soy Nada.
"Without you I am nothing.
- Without you I am nothing, a drop of wet rain on my face (Adrianna).
- My world is small and my heart, shards of ice (Julio).
- I thought that love was not real but an illusion that always ends (Adrianna).

Damien is in front of the door and he feels transported by the music. Fearing that he is a clone who stands in front of doors to listen to people's conversations, he opens the door and enters. His eyes meet Adrianna's who is sitting on her bed near the window and continues to sing.
- Relaxed on the bed, (Adrianna).
- Watching TV and seeing nothing, (Julio).
- Loving to love and being about to cry, without you I am nothing...
She finishes and puts down the guitar on the floor, her eyes still on Damien who looks back at her with a touching look.
