Cassie and Joshua fell on the bed, exhausted, sweaty, panting, and still tangled.
“That’ was….,” Joshua gasped.
“I agree,” Cassie breathed.
He had his arm around her naked body, holding her close, and even though his body was warm, it was not too warm, and she found herself snuggling closer to him, liking his warm embrace.
She bit her lower lip as she noticed the new mark on Joshua’s neck and noticed it was almost identical to the one on her own. She traced a finger down it, feeling how it was slightly raised, and she felt Alexa’s pride in her mind as she examined her mark.
She had marked her mate.
A week ago, Cassie couldn’t believe that would happen, but something had told her that Joshua was worth the risk.
