Sarah lowered the sleek office phone and set it gently on her black desk. Luke had just told her the factory was running perfectly. He told her to let Vincent dig his own grave. She wanted to trust him. She did trust him. But her instincts as a CEO screamed at her to check the facts. She quickly picked up her office phone and dialed the Production Manager's direct number. She held her breath, waiting for him to answer and confirm that the vats were working. The line rang. And rang. It finally clicked over to a recorded message. Sarah frowned.
