called the police station to let them know their ETA. She was requested to go directly to the hospital, and provided an address. An officer was waiting for them when they pulled up to park on the curb across from the medical center.
Hamm slipped on his shoulder holster and dropped the chain with his badge over his head. did the same, grabbing a pair of gloves and putting them on before exiting the motor home.
The officer led them into the hospital and up to the third floor where an armed guard and another gentleman in a suit stood outside the door of the patient’s room. The suited man noted gloved hand as he shook it.
“Agent Poe, I’m Detective .” He held out a hand to Hamm.
