Kiss
The next town was Stubbing. Before they reached the exit ramp, Hamm spotted a truck stop in the distance and steered toward it. After he pulled next to a pump, he checked with her. “You want to pay while I fill ‘ up?”
“Since I have the credit would seem a good idea.” Rising from her seat, went back to her bedroom to slip on a pair of mules. After getting her wallet, she returned to the front of the motor home to grab a pair of latex gloves from the box sitting by the door. Hamm stood there, waiting for her. She raised an eyebrow at him. “Do you need anything while I’m inside?”
“Not that I can think of. I’ll probably come inside when I’m done.”
