NOVUS▪▫▪ I had no way to tell when this shift she spoke of would happen. I knew I needed to be there for it, though. I reported back to the king early and set out back to the human realm immediately. I was permitted to spend three light cycles after each report time as I pleased in the Fae realm, but I couldn’t take the chance that I would miss this. The werewolves could move from human to wolf body at will, so I wasn’t sure when to expect her. Moving around unseen was not difficult; it did require patience, though. While the sun was beginning its descent, I found her. She sat upon a swing, lost within the pages of her book, while other people floated in and out of their dwelling. I watched her for a long time. Staying far enough away that she could not feel my presence took restraint
