SOL Leo was covered in scrapes and cuts like he tore through a prickly bush. When we got to my office, I pushed him toward the table and went for what I needed to clean him up. I knew it wasn’t necessary to bandage him because he would be healed by morning, but I still wanted to make sure nothing bothered him. When I turned back to the table, he was leaning against it with his arms crossed over his chest, watching me with an amused expression. “Sit,” I commanded. “I like it when you’re bossy,” he said, obeying.
