Chapter 32 Hana felt refreshed after her bath. Her washed hair hung in long red ringlets down her back, almost to her waist. The hotel guests arrived and Hana heard the party start downstairs. Many of them booked rooms and the surrounding noise increased. Loud music accompanied the banging of doors and squealing of women’s voices. Hana sat on the bed fiddling with the TV remote, settling instead on the novel she brought. She read to page four of the book before falling asleep, a feat considering the noise in the hallway.
