"Hey. Did you see my assistant?" Austin asked his secretary when he finds out that Alex wasn't in his office.

"Oh. I thought he went back to your penthouse to get some things that he left?" His secretary replied.

"So he's in the penthouse?" Austin asked again making sure.

"Maybe. He also said that he's going to take a break with Mr. Daniel."

"Okay, thanks," Austin said and left his secretary with a blank on the face. 

Austin immediately ran back to the penthouse to look for Alex. He looked at the kitchen first since Alex is a food lover and he's not there. He went straight to his room and entered without knocking.

"Oh... I... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to barge in." Austin apologizes when he saw Alex stands in from him ready to leave the room.

"I was actually going back to the office. Uhm... What's up? Did you left anything here too?" Alex asked.

"Uh... No. No. I'm looking for you, actually." Austin shuttered.

Alex nodded, "Then why didn't you text me? It's my break time today and Daniel and I were having a coffee." Alex smiled, "wanna join?"

Austin suddenly looked at Alex, "you're inviting me?" He asked.

"Yeah. I mean why not? If you have any errands--"

"No no. I'm fine. I'll go with you." Austin cuts him.

"Ok," Alex replied and walked past Austin.

Austin followed Alex as they leave the penthouse. As soon as they reach the lobby of the building, Alex received a text from Daniel telling him that he is already at the said coffee shop.

Minutes of walking, they reach the cafe. Alex smiled widely as he sees Daniel and Daniel smiled back. He looked at Austin and smiled, "Hi sir." Daniel greeted Austin. Austin ignored him and sits on the chair.

The waiter gets their order and awkwardly fills the room.

"Uh, I'm sorry I didn't tell you that I was bringing our boss today," Alex stated at Daniel.

"It's okay, Alex. I don't mind. Why don't you entertain our boss?" Daniel smiled and turned his eyes to Austin, "I'll be right back. I need to call someone first." Daniel smiled standing up and leave the two alone.

Daniel left them and Alex looked at him walking away, worriedly. "what's wrong with him?" Austin asked.

Alex shrugged and was interrupted by the waiter who delivers their coffees.

"Where is he now? His coffee's gonna get cold." Alex said as he turned around looking for Daniel.

"Just enjoy your coffee. He will be here soon." Austin said and took a sip on his mug, "Love problem, maybe." 

"Oh, Daniel has a boyfriend?" 

"Husband. Why? Do you have a crush on him?"

Alex gasped, "No. I didn't know that he's in a relationship. I haven't seen him on a date or be with someone."

"His husband is in Europe for a photo shoot, I guess. He's a model and also a brand ambassador of luxurious brands." 

The two didn't have a conversation for the past five minutes since Daniel hasn't returned yet. Austin tried his best to have a chat with the younger but he can't. Alex just drinking his coffee like a lost child waiting for Daniel to come back.

"Did it took me that long?" Daniel asked as he sits, panting. "I'm sorry. Elijah's departure is coming soon so I'm a little bit excited." he smiled. 

He turned his look at Austin again and the CEO just glaring at him. He smirked at him when he knew that Austin is pissed at him.

"So do you have a boyfriend, Alex?" Daniel asked emphasizing the word boyfriend.

Alex almost choke with what Daniel just asked, "what in the world? Of course, I don't have one." Alex chuckled.

"An ex-lover then?" Austin asked without any hesitation.

"No. I haven't been in a relationship before." Alex said with an awkward laugh.

"Oohhh, single then," Daniel smirked, "What if, someone asks you out on a date, will you say yes?" Daniel asked again.

The room is kind of awkward and Alex gulped while holding his cup and being interrogated by Daniel.

"N-no."

"What if that someone is our CEO Austin?"

Austin choked on his drink as he heard his name and looked furious at Daniel, "hahaha I'm just kidding, Alex, Sir. Don't take it seriously." Daniel laughed and soon Alex gave a chuckled.

Minutes passed of their so-called 'coffee break' it's time for them to go back to work. Daniel and Alex went back together since Austin had to run some errands because his father called him to check on Olivia.

Daniel walked together with Alex until they reached Austin's office. He says he wants to hang out and spend time with Alex since he's done with his work.

The two were chilling in the living area waiting for Austin.

"Ey, Alex?" Daniel started.

"Yeah?"

"Are you really sure that you never had a relationship before?" He asked.

Alex furrowed his brows and shakes his head slowly, "no... Why are you so interested in my past relationship, anyway?" Alex asked as he raised his eyebrow.

"Uhm, nothing. I'm just curious. I mean... Yeah, you're right. What the hell is wrong with me damn. Why am I so interested?"  Daniel said faking his laugh when he received a text from Austin and turned his attention to his phone texting him back.

A few minutes later...

"Oh, God," Daniel said starting at his phone, shaking.

"What? Why? What happened?" Alex said in a worried tone.

"I gotta leave. Bye." Daniel suddenly stood up from the couch and ran towards the door.

"Bye?" Alex said knowing that Daniel didn't hear him.

Daniel ran down the hallway and hurriedly pressing the elevator buttons to open which leads down to the parking lot. His heart's beating so fast nervously because Austin badly needs his help.

AUSTIN: Daniel, I need your help.

AUSTIN: Urgent

AUSTIN: Dad says I need to marry Olivia this year

AUSTIN: She's f*****g pregnant.

DANIEL: Bro what the f**k.

DANIEL: You never even touched her

DANIEL: Oh God I'm coming

AUSTIN: This is your fault dickhead

AUSTIN: You called her when I was drunk

AUSTIN: I can't remember if we had s*x or not

AUSTIN: Jesus Christ

DANIEL: She can't be pregnant just like that

DANIEL: You only slept with her last night

DANIEL: What the hell is that b***h is saying

AUSTIN: Just get your ass here idiot
