Chapter 5
Shattered
I was stuck in front of Jace’s bedroom door. I don’t know what to do. Different questions ran through my mind and the only answer lies inside. What’s happening to him? Why is he crying? Why does he sound like he’s in pain? What if something bad happened to him?
The crashing sounds really scared me and shook me to the core. I don't know why I'm scared of that kind of sound. I don't remember having any bad memories related to it. I just don't want to hear any sound like that again. It made my heart tremble in fear.
