Felt Like Home
We flew back right after Craig and Brianna's wedding because Brianna wanted to have their honeymoon in the house that Craig bought for them. Meanwhile, Charlene wanted to stay so we all went ahead of her. It was a long and tiring trip but as I laid my head on Jace's shoulder and intertwined my fingers with his, I felt like I was already home.
"You should get more sleep." He gently combed my hair, the strands filling in between his fingers.
I hummed. "I'm not sleepy," I answered, clenching his hand tight to make him know that I don't want to let go.
There was a hint of a smile in his voice when he responded. "What do you want to do when we got home?"
