Chapter 30
How Long?
Ever since Jace asked me about the therapy, we haven't talked about it again. All I could give him was silence because I don't know what to say. I don't think he needed one but because of what Leon said, I know he started thinking about it. I know he got bothered by Leon's story. But I don't think Jace will ever do that kind of thing. He's different.
I was sitting in the living proof, flipping through the newspaper I got early in the morning. Since I don't have to do anymore work here, I thought of looking for jobs. I don't mind if it's a job in a convenience store again. I just want to earn money by myself. I don't want to look like I'm leeching money off from Jace. I want to stand by myself.
"What are you looking at?" Jace flopped down beside me.
I smiled at him
