When Prometheus was roaming across east Africa, about seven to six million years ago, what he had observed as regards the behavior of man’s ancestors could be surmised today only by scientists specialized on primates. Man’s progenitors back then probably led a life similar to the present-day savannah baboons, bearing no relationship with any hunting and gathering activity.
