Do the Titans bring Peace?

Do the Titans bring Peace? In the clash between the Hypercosmic and the Supernatural Forces, we saw that the positive titanic forces reacted to the cruel and perfidious reign of the Dark Uranus, fighting for justice, goodness and beauty. But after their victory, did they follow the very values they had adhered to in order to revolt in the first place? Did they follow the proclamations in favor of which they fought and revolted? Did the Titans bring peace on Earth, at the end of the day? The Titans did not manage to bring peace on Earth. Yet, as is the case with every major change, they offered chances and set new precedents. Also, during the first 33000 centuries, they did manage to preserve justice, peace and concordance. That meant that Earth had a chance to relax and all living things prospered in peace. But as has many times been proven, if the ruler is not at the same time deeply philosophizing, he will easily slip into hubris the unreliable, the arrogant. In the last analysis, power corrupts all those wielding it, except if the ruler is a philosopher-king. It is for this reason that safety valves need to be set to protect the wielders of power. In a similar fashion, getting misguided by the treacherous scepter of hubris, Cronos slipped into snobbish arrogance and hedonistic power. The sudden great glory he came into, right after his proud victory over the Hypercosmic Powers, insatiable and cryptic as is every victory, imbued him with many negative feelings and unsavory thoughts. He could not avoid the treacherous gifts hubris was offering him, right at the very point of his greatest success and happiness. Very few are those who are capable of perceiving the slippery road of unbeatable hubris and deal with it by using virtue. Back then, it was the first time it happened, but the phenomenon would repeat itself, thousands of times till this very day. Following his falling into hubris, the tyrant’s sense of insecurity increased dramatically. The more powerful the tyrant becomes, the greater his sense of perdition becomes and the more his cruelty increases. When the ruler possessing great power falls into the tentacles of unsavory arrogance and foul power, he turns into a tyrant for the people but also of himself. He becomes unhappy, scared and unfree. Scaring shadows, unrevealed adversaries and invisible enemies lie lurking everywhere, or at least that is what he thinks. And the vicious circle that would turn him into an even crueler, fiercer but also more scared tyrant would commence, in his effort to discover enemies everywhere, even when there are not any. In the end, he feels insecure all the time and becomes delusional. And then the fortuitous persecutions and the continuous commitment of thousands of unjust acts throughout the whole society in which he lives start. The tyrant would start persecuting even those who are his true friends, allies and counsels showing him the way to redemption and return to goodness, even those steadfast supporters guarding him if need be. Even those he would persecute if suspicion about them enters his mind. In the end, he becomes totally friendless! In the end, all he is left with what would be a few foolish groveling courtiers who would flatter his pride seeking their own opportunistic gains, or because of the fear he is causing them, but who lead them further deep down in the labyrinthine paths of his mind. All doors are shut, precluding any sparkle, a solution that would return him to virtue, the only way out of his impasse. Destruction is his only certain and confirmed ending. Where does all that evil lead? Only with the fall of the tyrant will the vicious circle of the tyranny of evil stop! But tyrant Cronos buttressed himself behind his power, he possessed strength and military might, he had income and spent profusely to secure himself. He had bastions and walls built everywhere that would protect him from his potential enemies. He was so certain of that! Who would dare defy all his powerful strongholds? Who would vanquish the unbeatable hypercosmic sentinels? Was there no living thing on Earth able to wage war against the Hypercosmic Powers he gathered around him, then? But something must have escaped him, possibly! Cognition always goes on, and there comes a point when all these which before used to be regarded as unsurpassable obstacles, the mind will eventually surpass, finding solutions out of nowhere. That transcendental capacity of the mind is the answer to the powerful. That is the very response which, out of nowhere and next to no time, can fly to the skies, to traverse the whole universe, get lost in fantastic paths, get mixed up with dangerous, innovating utopian oases and return to reality fast. And when it does return to reality, it will carry with it all the rich presents of knowledge to apply to problems yet unsolved and lingering. Many mysteries have been solved and many strange and metaphysical phenomena have been addressed with this method. All the obstacles that Cronos had set, would be dealt with, simply with the use of cognition and rational thought of the life-loving thinking people. Then the evil ruler shall find the Cyclops and the Hekatoncheires against him, warm supporters of the Warrior of the Light who would appear out of nowhere – as we shall see – to restitute justice and peace onto the Natural Forces, which had suffered so much for millions of years in the course of life. Because cognition and collective memory of the universe goes on and awaits. No evil and no living being that fell into hubris could ever escape the Nemesis that the universe sends forth to punish evil. The time of the solar hero who would be called “Warrior of the Light” was still a long way to come certainly, but ever so slowly, it was coming nearer and nearer. The reign of the Olympian Gods was being prepared by the universe, as a reaction to Cronos’ unjust and harmful to life, hateful reign. The clash of the Supernatural with the Natural and the re-establishment of order had been predestined by the universe. But certainly, Cronos would not so easily hand over his power to which he had passionately been attached. He sought and found help from strange alien monsters. That’s’ how the myth went, and their appearance confirmed, but whatever the truth was, those monsters were truly a great threat for the living beings and the camp of Natural Forces on Earth. Finally, when the universal powers agreed about the time the prophecy would be fulfilled, the oracle of Delphi gave a useful prophecy to Cronos, in an ultimate effort to make him perceive the slippery road he had selected, provided of course he was in a position to understand completely what the prophecy said. Few and succinct, it were clear words that Pythia of Delphi expressed: “Love without knowledge and knowledge without love, are two unfulfilled gifts that are inherently limited in what they can offer only by themselves. Both are required to be present at all times. Strong possession of one ‘requires’ and ‘demands’ the other, so that both must coexist. These you should cultivate as much as you can! Only in those shall you find the solution that will allow you to save yourself”. But he disregarded Pythia’s sacred prophecy and so, he lost his last chance to save himself. The choice had been his to make and he alone would have to pay the price for his irreverence to the sacred oracle.
