The education of Zeus
The Earth was in its third interglacial period (160-75 tya), when Zeus was born in the Diktaion Cave and from there, he was stealthily carried to the Idaion Cave. His education there was taken up by the Kourites and the Iades Nymphs. From day one, emphasis was given to his education which was harsh, rigorous and prolonged. Up until his eighteenth birthday, he would be educated in the Arts, Letters and Philosophy, while he would receive athletic and martial training at the same time. Following the successful completion of his studies, he would take on an active role in the toppling of the authoritarian reign of Cronos on the planet. He of course had some free spells of leisure time that he used to particularly enjoy, playing with his only friends, the Idaian Dactyloi.
