Chapter Three— New Boy

I exited the house in my uniform ready for school. I always went to ahead of Stella because firstly I can’t stand the bit h and secondly she is a junior and besides she’s stupid too so it makes up. The driver Brandon always waited for me patiently with the car parked in front of the house.He was rude and neither was he nice he was just quiet, I sat in and he drove out of the drive way quickly,

“Brandon, how are you”, I asked as I always do,

“It was good ma’am”, I rolled my eyes at him the remaining of the car ride was silent, he arrived at my school block in minutes, boldly written on the top of the building was GARYFORD ACADEMY. The school is largest known in the city. Popularly known for the rich and elite, before I would have never made it to this school, it’s prestigious only granting scholarships for under privileged brilliant student, I still wouldn’t have made considering I’m not brilliant only average. I got out of the car and walked towards the building entrance the wind blowing through my hair as I walked through the crowded court yard. Some students glancing my way once or twice whispering among them selves and it’s not just me every rich student get the same attention, I ignored the stares and navigated through the crowd looking for my best friend. Just then I felt a tap on my shoulder, turning to face Sharon standing behind me smiling from ear to ear, she was light skinned with blonde hair, blue eyes, tall , slim with curves to die for, she was the plain definition of beauty.

“Siaaaaa, oh how I missed you.” She hugged me placing a kiss on my head,

“Missed you too. How was the vacation”, I couldn’t hide the smile on my face, this girl was way too cheerful hence why she is so popular.

“ it was good had a few hook ups here and there no big deal.”she pinched her fingers at me as l laughed shaking my head at her. She was unbelievably.

“And you? Tell me you had a little bit of fun in that house.” She looked at me as it she would scold me if I said I didn’t. I nodded at her but it wasn’t as enthusiastic as her response.she rolled her eyes at me with a sad look in her eyes, “ don’t you worry about that okay tell me about your few hook ups”. I said mimicking her action. She told me all about the boys making mention of a few names so she could get back to one or two of them.

“ hey did you hear from him. I mean Mason?”. She asked looking at my face to gat my reaction. My eyes sting a little from hearing his name, “the jerk!, couldn’t even give you a call or anything. How could he be so heartless I never expected..”.

“It’s okay Sharon I’m fine he left not me and if doesn’t want to talk it’s all good. Doesn’t matter any more”. I told her with a soft smile on my lip. Mason was my ex boyfriend, he recently broke up with me over his childhood friend. He spent more time with her than her even texted but it was all my fault so he broke things off not that it matters but it hurt either ways and he moved on right after starting a new relationship with her.

“Did your father finally intro..”. Screams came from the main entrance of the school hall averting attention to that direction heads turn towards the noise as people gathered around,

“What’s going on?”. Sharon asked, I shrugged at her as we tried to see among the little frenzy, I saw a mob of black hair in a tight ponytail and figured who it was but she doesn’t get this much attention on a daily it was the person beside her the main clothed in a suit with shimmering dark black hair and to eyes of his I knew that face,

“ who is that?”. Sharon asked starring at the man.

“Who else couldn’t stand Stella”. She looked at me with a smile,

“That’s your step brother”. She gasped turning back to stare at the man well you wouldn’t expect less even I was stunned starring at the gorgeous man.

“ not my brother”.

“ right!, my apologies”.

“It’s fine”. We tore our gaze from him as the bell rung for our first lesson. People groaned and sighed as they all walked to their various class Sharon and I went our separate ways.
