Bellmont was colder. The wind slipped straight down my collar. I pushed the stroller across a plaza. Pigeons wandered lazily around my feet, and a street performer played the violin in the distance. The cold air helped clear my mind. Richard came over and handed me a cup of hot coffee. "Natalie, you're recovering faster than I expected." His gaze moved to the stroller, where my baby was sleeping beneath a blanket. "But taking a child on a world tour will be difficult." I wrapped both hands around the cup and let its warmth seep into my palms. "It's fine. This is my new beginning." Richard smiled. "Tonight is your comeback performance. The whole board will be there. Are you ready?" I looked up at the concert hall nearby. "I am." At 8 p.m., every seat in Aurelia Hall was filled.
