POOR LITTLE RICH ME.

TWO BIRTHDAYS LATER

I went downstairs a little cautious and my favourite breakfast was steaming hot, its been quite a while since i properly ate and that was one thing mum was so keen on. As it was our tradition table etiquette was observed to the latter therefore my table was set with all the necessary cutleries, so i took the napkin placed it on my laps and ate like i was in a competition before long i was so full that i had to take some few minutes before clearing the table and as it was the routine we always cleaned our dishes, when it was just few we did it ourselves but when it was the entire house, then we used the dish washer, though one may think i was spoilt, i had some few skills at least i knew my way around the house but had  never made my bed and i never slept in unmade bed, my bed sheets used to match my pajamas and they used to be changed after every two days.

After i finished cleaning the dishes, rather my cup, plate, glass and cutleries, i dragged myself upstairs to make my bed but to my surprise the bed was made and my room well arranged. Curiosity got great hold of me and i wanted to know who is doing all this, so i called out "who is there" , i heard footsteps and i almost hid under the bed but i was abit late, i was in a daze when the robot spoke "hey sweetheart, hope you enjoyed your breakfast, we will be keeping you company for few days before others join you" wait a minute these robots had customized voices, this one spoke like my sister and i was just staring when it continued "let me introduce you to others and with that few others joined us and introductions were done, seeing robots wasn't anything new to me since i was used to being tutored by one at home and i wondered how many we had, my "mum" robot continued with my daily schedule and now it seemed my class time was increased and there wasn't anymore going to the office and such but swimming was there and cycling, this was going to be one boring week, how can i survive with just these two activities? you may wonder what about television but as it was our custom, we spent little time with gadgets that included tv, laptops and the like, dad insisted on talking with each other and having human interaction but the problem was they were the only ones i interacted with, i didn't know our relatives since we had almost zero interaction, actually have met them twice and we didn't spend much time with them, it was some sort of meeting in one of the prime hotels, which anyway i was used to, so i had wandered off to their aquarium which had some ornamental fishes that's much i know of our relatives. My day began with classes and the exact robot that used to take me through classes continued or rather the replica of it, interestingly it continued from where we last stopped, the classes went well but i felt lonely and i missed everyone and hearing their voices through the robots made it even worse, maybe this was a way of making me feel more at home but it made me feel terrible, these things couldn't hug me, i was used to warm hugs and embrace but these things were metal, several times i found myself crying, i waited eagerly for the week to be over but my family didn't show up, waited another and another and before long, i did my final exams for the elementary level.

Now either my family didn't have plans of coming back or something was terribly wrong, i decided i will get out there and look for them myself though didn't know where to start because to start with i had no idea where i was and i  never went out of the house on my own and had almost zero interaction experience with strangers but i had to do this, i was determined to, people cant just dissapear into thin air. I had thought they had gone to the oversees offices and that's why it didn't bother me too much but now this was worrying, even if they went there, no way they could go all of them together and also for that long period, did we have an enemy? but i thought my dad, mum and siblings were the coolest people around how could they  have any enemies?

Rather than sitting and just thinking, i decided i was going to do something, i went in the house to pack that's when i realized i even didn't know where the gate was, my days mostly involved classwork, swimming, cycling and the compound was vast so i never bothered where the gate was or whether it was locked, so i decided to do a slight survey before leaving, i asked the "brother" robot to take me to the gate, i seemed to have my way with him compared to others, so he took my hand and showed me around, i learnt we actually had three gates in the property, whatever they were for i had no idea but i learnt i could open from inside but from outside i had to enter my bio metrics which hadn't been fed into the system, therefore it meant if i left getting in was going to be difficult but provided i found them there was no need for my bio metrics. So that day after dinner i packed some few clothes in my backpack, few snacks and bottle of water then i went to sleep. Since my family left i have celebrated two birthdays alone, well if it counts my robot family threw a party for me but they were the worst birthdays of my life, now i had grown and the feminine features in me were more visible than the time my family left me, i was eager for them to see how beautiful i had grown. After packing i got in bed as i had set to leave the following day after breakfast, when i got here the robots used to follow me but now they seemed more relaxed because i never dared leaving or doing anything dangerous  but now i was all grown to face the world and rescue my family from wherever they were, i also took a picture of us so that i could show people in order to help me trace them easily. That night i dreamt with them, what a happy reunion i was so excited and couldn't stop talking. In the morning i took my breakfast afterwards washed my utensils and headed to my room, wore some jeans sports shoes a fancy top and a hoodie then carried my back pack, i had already decided which gate to use and so the robots didn't notice anything unusual. When i got to the gate i pressed the button and it opened... Eureka!! i was going to see many interesting things like the ones i studied and above all come back or rather go back home with my family, as i was getting out, i heard an alarm on the gate and it started closing rather fast but i managed to jump out, i looked back and saw the robots running towards my direction, therefore i didn't waste anytime, i run and run for quite sometime no one was going to stop me this time round, i was determined and whenever Angelica made up her mind no one could stop her, i must rescue my family that was my most urgent mission and i was going to accomplish it.

After running for sometime i came to a junction, i didn't know which direction to take, i saw some seats with an umbrella and decided to rest there briefly as i contemplated which way to take, will the world be willing to help me
