My dad and my sister rushed into my room. "Leave me alone!" I screamed louder. "What's happening? What's wrong with you, kiddo?" my dad asked, trying to hold me in his embrace. I pushed my father away, and I could see him hitting his back against the wall. "Emily, calm down!" my sister yelled. "Tell them to stop, sis. Tell them to stop," I cried. Emma rushed out of my room to get a tranquilizer. My father was struggling to get back on his feet. The pain he had incurred, slamming his back against the wall, had a toll on him. Before my sister could return, my entire room was disheveled. I had scattered my wardrobe, looking for clothes to cover my ears.
