Ma'am Lucy was outside the door and in wait. As soon as Derrick walked out the wedding hall with Lia, she knew to come take her.
“I'm sorry, my king. We should have prepared her more and made sure she was feeling alright,” she apologized.
“It's fine. Just let her get some rest,” Derrick shrugged dismissively. He let go of Lia, ready to get back inside.
But Lia grabbed his arm.
“You promised to take me. And…besides the people wouldn't be expecting you to return quickly.”
Lia fluttered her lashes coyly and wore an adorable smile
Derrick narrowed his eyes down at her. His substitute Luna…no, his bait was getting bolder by the second. Right away he was supposed to reprimand her. But why did he think she was cute instead?
