David.
"I am scared."
"Why?" I asked briefly, staring at her, and she came to me as she slowly wrapped her hands around me.
"I don't mean, but I'm just scared; I feel like she'll come for me."Lyra voiced out.
I let out a sigh and wrapped my hand around her as I brought her closer to me. She was looking me intently in the eyes. She brought her lips closer to mine, and then it ended in a hot session. I could perceive her musky scent, which made me harden down there.
The next day, I climbed out of bed and decided to go to work. I was visited by the welcoming face of my assistant; he had a smile as he broke the wonderful news I had been waiting to hear for a long time.
"Mr. Bills accepted the invitation for us to go to his annual party."
He gave me more information and the requirements of the party. A smile was etched on my face as he said that. After the horrendous day, I went home, where I found Dora, for whom she had already prepared a delicious meal. I ate the food, drank, and we slept off.
The day of the party arrives. We made sure we were dressed in one of our best outfits. As we walked in, she gazed at the place, which was luxurious and extravagantly decorated.
She wrapped her hand around me. We met new people, had some fun, and started interacting with new clients.
It was time for a dance. I wrapped my hand around Dora, staring into her eyes as we danced to our hearts' content.
The main reason I have resorted to flirting with Dora behind my wife's back is because I knew she was the lost heiress of a billionaire, a business tycoon. This is information that she's yet to know. I don't give a f**k about the word "love" because I feel it's just a mirage; hell, it doesn't exist.
I pulled her closer, not minding why we were at the party before. I gazed at her, felt her skin, and slowly felt her lips against mine.
People's gazes lingered; her hands came closer, stopping me from going any further. "We have all the time in the world where we can have all this s****l blissfulness."
I smirk and say, "You're right, I can't wait to r****h you again and again." I said, grabbing her body firmly as we swayed to the music.
"You are such a badass." She smirked.
Her eyes widened, and suddenly she tapped my shoulder as she gestured her hand towards someone behind me. "Isn't that Lyra?"
I turned to have a look. I saw Lyra, engrossed in a dance with a man, wearing a tux. My fist was clenched; I never knew she was this shameless to now be mingling immediately after what happened.
I went to her, and Dora followed behind. I briefly scrutinized the man; he was not bad. I looked at his watch; it was indeed an original Rolex, as were his shoes, which looked like authentic Italian leather shoes.
"So you were waiting for me to pack you out of my house so you could show the world that you are truly a whore." Dora said this while folding her hands.
Lyra turned, briefly scanning me, her gaze intense as she watched. Then she dismissed our presence as she focused on dancing with the man without saying a word.
"Have some dignity, sugar. Since you are desperate to be in the arms of a rich man, be decent enough to respect yourself not to jump into the hands of any rich man that comes knocking at your door." Dora spat.
"What the f**k is your business, b***h?" She yelled at Dora.
"Don't you dare call her that? You, a piece of w***e, should at least respect yourself in public. She is more decent, unlike you; after being thrown out, you jumped into the hands of an available man just to get someone to feed your dirty ass." I interrupted.
She curled her lips into a smirk. "I don't understand why the f**k you care about who I mingle with; you have done enough by throwing me out of the house, taking away your car, and now embarrassing me in public. Seriously, I thought you still had some sanity left, but now I know you are slowly losing it."
"Don't you dare!"
"Young man, who the f**k are you, and who allowed you to be at this party in the first place?"
I clenched my hand and said, "I am her husband."
Dora looked up at me, "husband? What are you saying, David?"
"We are still not yet divorced."
Lyra's gaze narrowed. "I can now understand that you have lost it."
I saw a smirk on the man's lips. "David, or whatever your name is called, I am advising you to leave to avoid any further embarrassment."
I clenched my fist and turned to leave, but before I did, I still wanted to give the man a piece of my mind.
"Know that she's still married to me."
"I know."
"Then why are you still flirting with a married woman?"
"Because I now understand why she should have left that marriage sooner since she made the mistake of marrying a jerk like you." He added that his face was stoic.
Damn, his words stung so hard. I could feel myself fighting the urge not to land him a slap on the cheek.
"Now leave if you don't want me to take action this minute."
"Who the f**k are you to tell me to leave or not to?" I said this while looking at him.
"I am someone you won't want to mess with."
I laughed. "And that doesn't have a name?"
"Enough of this drama, David. Please just leave; you have already caused more harm than you will ever know." Lyra said it intimidatingly.
Dora held my hand and said, "We have to go; I feel he's someone whom we shouldn't mess with."
I refused to feel intimidated. "I am not leaving unless you tell me why you are here with my wife," I asked.
We were already gathering attention; the media were already around us with their cameras, but I was not relenting anytime soon.
"If you have heard of that name, Orion Bill, then next time, have some manners when talking to him."
