happy birthday

Lyra. "Orion Bills?" He muttered, his eyes widening. He immediately rushed out of the party, leaving no trace of his face behind. I clenched my hand into a tight fist. I hate to admit it, but damn, it felt good to put him in his place. Orion took me out of the scene. We went to his car, and we drove home. I was still recalling what happened, and I couldn't help but smile just at the thought of it. My heart was racing so fast when I noticed Orion coming close to me. He had a smile on his face. But I moved a little, and I immediately turned to look at him and said, "I am taking revenge." I told him. He had a smirk on his face. "And I'll gladly help you put that scumbag in place." He said. I was shedding some light on what would be in our next plan. The next day arrived. I woke up, visited by the morning rays of sunlight peeking through the window. I stood up from the bed, went to take a shower, and decided to go to work because I have been walking as a model, but my husband stopped me because he felt I was exposing my body in a way he felt didn't conform to society's norms. I walked into the room, made sure I was nicely dressed, and everyone gasped when they saw me. "Wh... what the hell? Is that you, Lyra?" Sebastian gasped in shock as he strolled over me. He always acts very feminine; that's why he's a good make-up artist and a wonderful stylist. Salvador walked towards me, his gaze intense as he stared at me. "Come, we have to talk." He said this as he wrapped his hand around me and dragged me to his office. "Have a seat." I did as he instructed while waiting for what he'd say: "What are you doing here? I thought you quit modeling because of issues best known to you." "That's why I am back, to take what's mine; I want to be in the spotlight again." "But Dora has managed to take your position; after you left, we couldn't find someone as talented as you. Dora offered to work in your position, so we had no other option than to give her that position even though she was not as good as you." He told me, looking saddened. I clenched my hands into a tight fist, so that b***h has the nerve to come here? It was clear that David convinced me to leave my job to offer the position to Dora. I hate myself for acting like a fool all this while and looking stupid in the first place. "If that's the case," I pursed, standing up, "I'll take back as much as possible, but you don't have to do anything; just wait and see." "I like that spirit," he said with a smile. I walked out of the room wearing a slit dress, showing my sexy body. I cat-walked out of the office, showcasing my modeling skills. "Wow, that's what we call a model," a young man said. I've never seen the face in this organization; maybe he might be a new employee here. He walked up to me as he extended his hand for a shake. "You look hot; you are on fire with every graceful step you take; it seems like you are new here." I skimmed at his dress; he was well dressed, wearing an expensive tux matching the best brand of Rolex watch and expensive Italian shoes. "No, I'm not new, but rather I was an ex-employee," I stated the facts. "If that's the case, it's clear you have some experience; for that, I am deciding to offer you to be a model for my fashion design company, and here is my card. Catch you up later." He said this as he left, leaving me a bit baffled. I checked the card, and my mouth opened wide when I saw the name. Holy sh*t! It was Brick Holmes. The greatest fashion designer in the U.S. was not any model that was allowed to just wear any of his collections. I gasped, unable to believe my luck. Damn, I was so excited. I went back home and met Orion, who was sitting in the dining room. He had plates of food arranged on the chair. I was still smiling, unable to believe what just happened to me. I went to sit beside him as he shoved a spoonful of food. "What's with the excitement?" "I met Bricks Holmes." "Okay, and what about it?" "He is giving me the offer to be one of his models, something that not all models are opportune to be in his shows." I sounded excited. Suddenly, he stood up, walked up to me, placed his hand on mine, and brought me outside the house. I narrowed my gaze, feeling a bit surprised. "What's happening?" I sounded baffled. We were outside, in a dimly lit environment. The stars were bright as he gently cupped my cheeks, and my stomach fluttered. Things were happening so fast, and I didn't know how to react to the situation. A blush crept on my face as he leaned closer; he was about to kiss me. Thinking about David and how things were moving too fast, I turned to the right as his lips landed on my cheeks. "Uhm, I am sorry, but let's take things slow." I stuttered. He nodded, "I understand; I just have a surprise for you, and I feel you will love it here," he said, offering a key. I raised an eyebrow, scrutinizing the key, and then he handed me a brand new Rolls-Royce. "Happy birthday." I opened my mouth to say something, but I recalled that today was February 14th. I gasped, unable to believe it because I had forgotten it was my birthday. This has been my dream car. I have always wanted to own a new Rolls-Royce, but I was never opportuned to do so, and the fact that he bought my favorite color, which was yellow, baffled me. With a sad look, I turned to look at him and said, "I am sorry, but I can't accept this gift; yes, I have always wanted to own one, but..." Before I could continue my sentence, he caught me off guard by sealing his lips with mine; my words were caught in my throat. My knees weakened, my stomach bubbled with a thousand butterflies, and I found myself holding him firmly to avoid falling. Damn, I must admit, he's a good kisser. He then let go of me; my eyes were still closed, and I was in a trance about what just happened. "You are welcome." He said as he turned to leave while leaving me with the key in hand. I was excited. I squealed within me, unable to contain my excitement. I am trying to calm my nerves and act calm. I shoved myself into the car, feeling the coolness of the brand-new car. I drove myself to my desired location, feeling so ecstatic. When I eventually arrived back home, I noticed Orion was using his system; he was so focused that he barely noticed me. "Are you back?" He asked, startling me. "Uhm, yeah." I went to him, and as I appreciated him, I felt relieved of all the ache and pain he caused me. "I'm glad you loved it." "How do you know my favorite color?" He stopped what he was doing, stared at me, and smiled. "Is it like you always forget who Orion is? The most wanted bachelor," he said as he ruffled my hair. "That's not fair, so you want me to compete now?" I said, pouting my lips. "Compete? Mmm, I like the fact that you are already seeing yourself in the competition." He retorted back with a smirk. I opened my mouth to say something, but not a word was uttered, so I decided to just keep quiet. The next day arrived. I woke up feeling a bit tired. I took a shower, got dressed, and went to designer Bricks Holmes' office. I was welcomed by the staff there, and then I was about to walk into the office, but then I heard a voice. I felt I might be intruding. I was about to turn left, but there was a voice that made me stop dead in my tracks. "I am ready to give my sexy body for the whole night, Mr. Holmes. Just allow me to be your model in your latest collections. I promise you won't regret it." Dora said it sexily.
