Bathed in the morning light, Carrie slowly awoke from her slumber, her eyes fluttering open to greet the new day. She couldn't help but smile when she remembered her date with Luther King tonight. She wondered why he had chosen her, but she was willing to give it a shot. Grabbing her phone, she saw a text from an unknown number. It was from Claudia, Luther's assistant, informing her that a driver would be sent to pick her up at 9pm and asking for her address. Carrie sent her address and went about her day. An hour later, there was a knock on the door. Sarah, Carrie's mom, called out from the living room, "Carrie! Someone is here for you, he says he has a package to deliver." As Carrie approached the living room, she saw a burly man standing by the doorway. He asked, "Miss Williams?" She replied, "Yes." He handed her a box and said, "From Mr. King. Sign here, please." She signed where he asked and thanked him as he left. Carrie and her mom were both curious to see what was in the box. When she opened it, she found a red glittery dress, other items, and a note that said, "I can't wait to see you tonight, X, Luther." Carrie smiled warmly when she read the note and took the box up to her room, excited. *** At precisely 9pm, Carrie saw a very fancy car pull up in front of her house. She wasn't a car enthusiast, so she didn't know the make, but she could tell from its appearance that it was luxurious. Taking a deep breath, she walked up to the car and the driver got out to open the back door for her. "Good evening, ma'am," the driver said as he welcomed her. Carrie stepped into the car, feeling a bit anxious. Was she really sure she wanted to do this? As the car started to move, she looked around her surroundings and asked, "Where are we headed?" She was curious. The driver kept his eyes on the road and replied, "Mr. King told me not to tell,ma'am”. They arrived at a place called Skyview Manor and from a distance, Carrie could see a helicopter parked in a field as they drove through the gate. As they got closer to the chopper, Carrie noticed Luther standing close to the helicopter waiting for her, and she felt her cheeks flush as she blushed. As she stepped out of the car, Luther walked up to her with a warm smile on his face. "You're here," he said. "You look gorgeous," he added, leading her straight into the helicopter. "Where are we going?" Carrie asked, surprised by his gesture and also, curious. Carrie was nervous, as she had never flown before. Luther noted her nervous state and held her hand to calm her down. She blushed. Carrie, who was mesmerized by the beautiful view of the city from the sky, became fascinated by the beauty of the city. After several minutes, they landed on the rooftop of a building. As she highlighted the chopper, Carrie saw a series of staffs on white and black ready to welcome them. Luther took her hand and led her to an already set table with a bottle of wine in its center. For a moment, after they settled down, the staff began to bring a series of food and drinks to the table. Luther was mute all through as he just stared at Carrie, his eyes boring into her as she was seated opposite him. A low classy and peaceful music played in the background Carrie was nervous but also amused by the scene, she smiled at the staff as they did their job before she noticed Luther looking at her. “Red looks good on you”he said finally breaking the silence “Thank you” Carrie said as let out a soft smile. “You seem nervous “ he added “All this is happening so fast,I wasn’t expecting all this”Carrie said as she let out a nervous chuckle. “I wanted somewhere more discreet, far away from any distractions,” Luther said, trying to calm her unease. There was a short silence before Luther started speaking again. “Tell me about your family, your mum, dad?” Carrie took a quick breath before she answered “Ok..well,I’m an only child of my mom,my dad has never really been in the picture,my mum also doesn’t like to talk about him” “So you’ve never met him?,your dad “Luther asked processing the information Carrie just told him “No, “ Carrie replied. “What about you ?” “What’s your family like behind …cameras? “ “My family is pretty normal like every family, since I lost my dad I had to take up the CEO role to continue the company…It was pretty hard at first, not something I wanted but I’ve gotten used to it “ “Although I wonder what it feels like to be a normal person,to walk around without people staring with cameras in their hands ” Carrie listened to him as he spoke and she realized that underneath the hard, intimidating Luther there was just someone who wanted to be free. As the date went on they talked more about their past, various events and their experiences. They both realized they had few things in common. Later on, they both began to dig into their food to eat. There was a small silence in the air.Luther’s eyes were on Carrie from time to time .He couldn’t just take his eyes off her. “I have something for you”Luther said, breaking the silence, his face lit up with excitement like he suddenly remembered something. Carrie was confused “what is it?” She asked Luther stood from chair, walked up to Carrie and held out his hand.Carrie hesitantly took his hand but was also curious about what he was talking about. Luther led Carrie slowly into the doorway of the building, his face filled with excitement like he could wait for her to see. After passing the doorway, they entered an elevator. Few seconds later, they entered an apartment. It looked like a penthouse, exuding elegance and grandeur. Its vast expanse is adorned with lavish furnishings, regal chandeliers, and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame breathtaking city vistas. The opulent space boasts spacious rooms, adorned with intricate details and plush fabrics, creating an ambiance of timeless beauty. “Is this your house? “Carrie was curious,so she asked. “Yes ... .it's one of mine” he replied. Luther then showed Carrie around the apartment, and Carrie was amused by the beautiful features of the penthouse. As they stroll through the hallway,Carrie spotted a grand piano in one of the rooms of the penthouse.Intrigued, she moved closer to the piano. “Do you play?” She asked as she moved her fingers gently tracing the smooth surface of the piano, exploring how it feels. “Yes ”…Luther said, joining her. “Every key holds a story,a symphony of emotions waiting to be played”he added as he sat on the stool in front of the piano. Their conversation flowed effortlessly, their words dancing in harmony. They share stories of their favorite composers, their love for the expressive power of music, and the way melodies can stir the deepest of emotions. The air crackles with a shared passion, their connection growing stronger with every word. As the conversation reaches its crescendo, Luther's voice grows husky, his eyes locked on Carrie's. The world around them fades into the background as he inches closer, his breath mingling with hers. The electricity between them is palpable, their hearts beating in sync. Carrie's heart skipped a beat as Luther presented her with the exquisitely wrapped box. She carefully untied the ribbon and opened it, revealing the dazzling diamond necklace inside. Carrie: "Oh my goodness, Luther This is so beautiful. I can't believe you got this for me." Luther smiled, his eyes filled with anticipation. Luther: "I wanted to give you something special, Carrie. A way to say thank you." Carrie's voice trembled with gratitude as she responded. Carrie: "I'm speechless, Luther. This is such a thoughtful and generous gift. Thank you so much." He then picked up the necklace and helped her put it on. Carrie turned her back to Luther as he placed the necklace around her neck, brushing her hair to the side with his fingers. He began to use his fingers to trace her neck down to her shoulders. There was a palpable tension in the air. "Carrie," he whispered, his voice filled with aching desire. "I want nothing more than to kiss you right now and lose myself in your embrace”. Carrie's eyes meet his,"Luther," she whispered , her voice filled with longing but also wanting to hold back. In that moment, their lips almost meet, the anticipation hanging in the air like a delicate melody.Luther pulls back, a mix of longing and restraint in his eyes. “I want it to be right, to be a moment we both cherish,"he said. He then led Carrie to a room, “You can spend the night here,if you need anything feel free to call any of the staff around”he said handing her some items. “My room is down the hall,I should go to bed now,” Luther said but he didn’t move,he just stood there looking at Carrie. Carrie also didn’t say a word as she collected the items Luther handed her, there was a s****l tension between them and they could both feel it. After a little moment of silence,Luther grabbed Carrie by the waist and smashed his lips against hers, its something he’s been longing to do.Their lips synced in a tender passionate kiss. Carrie also stopped holding back and kissed him back, she could feel his tongue wanting to go deeper and explore her mouth, she gave in. Luther began to explore every inch of her body,Carrie let out a soft moan as his hands moved to her breast, squeezing it lightly. He began to kiss her neck and then moved to her chest,to the top of her breasts. He wanted her more, but he knew he had to stop. They slowly pulled away from each other,to catch their breath. “Good night Carrie”Luther said in a low tone. “Good night ”Carrie whispered as she replied. *** As the moon casts an eerie glow on the dark street,Carrie made her way home from the studio she had spent all day in. She kept on reminiscing about the date with Luther, and found herself smiling from time to time. Suddenly, a van screeches to a halt, and masked figures emerge from it,grabbing Carrie and shoving her inside. Panic sets in as Carrie realizes she's been kidn*pped. Her heart races, and she must summon all her strength and wit to find a way to escape this terrifying ordeal. As Carrie struggles against her restraints, her voice trembles with fear. "Who are you? What do you want from me?" she demands, her voice quivering. “Let me go!!” She screams as she tries to free herself from their restraint. The world blurs as the van speeds away, leaving her trapped and uncertain of her fate. One of the masked figures leans in, his voice cold and menacing, robbing his hands on her hair. "Don’t be scared, sweetheart. Just sit tight and do as you're told if you want to see the light of day again." Carrie's heart pounds in her chest as she tries to reason with them. "Please, there must be some mistake. I'm just an ordinary person. I don't have any money or connections. Let me go!" The figure scoffs, his voice dripping with contempt. "Oh, we know exactly who you are. And trust me, you're worth every penny. Now, be quiet and cooperate, or things will get much worse for you." Carrie's mind races, searching for any opportunity to escape. She takes a deep breath, her voice determined. "You may have me now, but I promise you,You won't get away with this." The figure chuckles darkly. "We'll see about that, won't we? For now, keep your pretty little mouth shut. The boss has big plans for you."he said, yanking her head away. With those chilling words, Carrie realizes the gravity of her situation. She must gather her strength and find a way to outsmart her captors before it's too late.
