14. I love you

While they were walking , they passed by Anel and continued to the room's door opened and went to check on Lala. Sunshine placed her hand on her forehead it felt like burning wood . She just went brought a bowl with water as Taraj went to call the doctor . She started rubbing the towel in her face to cool her until the fever calmed down a bit.

Later the doctor. came in and checked on her . She asked them if she has been stressed lately because that was the cause and asked them to not let that happen again and left. Taraj looked at Lala and felt accountable. He went and sat in the couch thinking to himself.

Sunshine checked on her for some minutes and when she saw that she was fine , she went and sat near Taraj . She rubbed his back to calm him . He started saying "Lala's family was a happy and peaceful one until one day when his father died , his mother ran away , she searched for her but never found her , later her elder sister also left home and went abroad to continue with her studies , Sunshine was left alone and she had to come to live with her grandpa".

One day there was a party for all the company stakeholders , corporate people and all businessmen in city. That's where I met her and we became best friends up to now. Sunshine felt sorry for her and they both moved beside the bed stared at her for hours .

She later woke up in the evening, found them staring at her . I'm sorry. Taraj and Sunshine both said in unison which made them to look at each other and had to look at both of them confused and asked for what . Sunshine came in first , sorry I got you worried but I promise I will never disappear from your sight . Taraj then said I'm sorry I shouldn't have let the situation to get out of hand to get you worried it won't repeat itself.

She just said you are both forgiven and said I'm hungry . Taraj offered to go and bring food and left the two girls inside . Lala asked about what was between the two, Sunshine just replied "I don't know yet" . Lala laughed and Sunshine asked her the matter but she continues laughing .

Later Taraj brought food and they started munching , after eating Lala excused herself to go take a bath.The two didn't have much to say because they were tired . Taraj asked her out on Saturday she accepted. Then he stood and she stood too to escort him out . When he moved out Lala came in excited and started teasing her saying , you now walk him to the door and Sunshine just replied that that is being polite.

And informed Lala that she was going out with Taraj on Saturday , Lala came and hugged her because she was so happy for her. The week days went by quickly and it was now Saturday.

Lala was her designer , Sunshine had to try on many clothes where Lala never approved any until she wore a pink crop top and a short black skirt and Lala instructed her to add on a white cap since it was scorching outside and white sneakers and the outfit was complete .

Taraj later came to pick her up in the evening but she was no where to be seen. He called and informed her that he was already here She peeked in the door peeping hole and there he was but someone pulled her away to also see.Lala smiled widely and Sunshine thought to herself that Lala's mouth will hurt after this .

Lala helped her to open the door and she moved out . Sunshine said hi and he replied with hi ,and asked if they can go. They moved to the entrance of the forest and he said he had a surprise for her and he had to blindfold her. At first she was resistant but finally agreed .

He blindfolded her and led her deeper in the forest they finally stopped at a point and he removed the blindfold and said surprise. Sunshine on opening the eyes what she saw took her breath away and she smiled and jumped for minutes.

Taraj asked if she liked it and she instead said she loved it . He was now satisfied that it was worth it , he led her to the seat .The seat was in form of a bench but was long with a tray in the middle and there was a mat with flowers spread on it.

They sat on opposite sides of the beach and he unwrapped the tray and there was food , he apologies that the food was not that top notch . He promised that once college was done he will take her to a real date , she just says it was not necessary but he remains on his word.

They ate in happiness grinning and after eating he told her that there were still two surprises . He led her to sit on the mat and finally told her to sleep . Up the leaves were designed in a heart shape. She then sat smiling lavishly . He started confessing his love .

Sunshine since the day I met in the elevator, you became the light in my life even in the dark I could still see. Whenever I felt that we couldn't meet again I couldn't take it . When I felt I couldn't meet you again I could see darkness but when I remembered your face my life was lit again. Sunshine I love you and I hope nothing will separate us again. I want you to be my Sunshine. Sunshine looked at him with joy in her hands and started confessing too

What I felt in the elevator towards you was beyond my knowledge. I didn't want it to stop . I have longed for a day we can finally meet again . I love you Taraj and I'm ready to be your sunshine.
