Sadie’s POV I looked at the message. This woman hardly even knew me, and yet, in less than three minutes, she was enrolling me into the social group I did not want to be in. It crossed my mind that I might just ignore this message. That I might send her a nice message of refusal. That I would do all the things a sane person does when a stranger suddenly appears in their life. Then thoughts of Lily popped into my head. Of how she sat among the kids whose parents were from well-known, rich families. How the leather monogramed bags, the fountain in the courtyard and the photos of past graduations on the staircase looked.
