I woke up to a noise coming from our living room,so I went to check what it was about.

When I got to the living room, I saw my mum sitting on the floor crying her eyes out. Her eyes were so swollen. It looked like she had been crying for a long time. My father I standing in front of her. He also looked so disorganized, it seemed like he was drunk.He was holding his suit and his shirt was rumpled and he had a blank expression.

I hid behind a door in the living room so as to get a good view of what was really happening.

“Smith!!what have you done to us?..what have you done to our beautiful family?!!” My mum screamed at the top of her lungs.

“Baby,take it easy please,I’m sorry but the deed has been done”My father replied.

“What do you mean by ‘the deed has been done’?.. you got your secretary pregnant,How could you do this to me?”.

My mum stood up from the floor and held my father’s hand. “It’s not too late, you’re going to make sure she gets rid of it, right”. She asked.

“I don’t think that would be possible because I’m in love with Regina”. He replied with no remorse in his voice.

“What do you mean. . Then..Then what would happen to me and your beautiful daughter?. . Pls don’t do this to us, I won’t survive it” my mum said and started crying again. “I’m sorry, but you have to learn to live with Regina. She would be moving into the house with us”. My father said and walked into his study.

My mum fell on the floor and cried hard. I couldn’t bear seeing her like that.So I went up to her and tried consoling her. She was inconsolable and kept on crying. She loved my father so much and didn’t expect this day to come. I didn’t expect it to come to this after everything my mum sacrificed for our family.

My father brought his mistress to our house the next day,her protruding stomach was visible. She also had a daughter about my age.

She was really beautiful and looked like a sweet person. My dad ushered his mistress and her daughter to the rooms they would stay. When my mum saw my dad and my mistress together, she became visibly sad and locked her self in her room for days without eating. My dad and I were so worried about her and begged her to let us in but she refused. When she came out of her room , she came to apologize to me for allowing what was going on between herself and my dad to affect me. She promised me that she would continue being a good mum to to despite what was happening in our family.

My mum really tried her best to live in peace with Regina all to no avail. My stepmum Regina made sure my dad hated my mum so much.

She would accuse my mum of hitting her and her daughter or accuse her of something else she obviously didn’t do. My dad who loved Regina so much would believe her and scold my mum. One day, my mum and Regina were have an argument and Regina deliberately fell on the floor and had a miscarriage.She accused my mum of pushing her and blamed her for the miscarriage. My father was so angry at my mum and smacked her across her face. She couldn’t take the humiliation anymore and left the house. My stepmom was so happy that she threw a party.

After my left, Regina and her daughter Cassandra made my life a living hell. Cassandra would always bully me and her mum always took her side. My stepmom turned the table around and accused me of bullying Cassandra the day I tried standing up for myself.My dad was so disappointed in me and stared keeping his distance.

One day I told my dad that I would love to go visit my mum but he refused. He didn’t allow me to see her until I found out she died of cancer.

I was allowed to attend her funeral and when I got back home Cassandra called me an orphan in front of her mum and they mocked me together.

I cried so much that my face became numb.

~Now~

I was quite throughout our ride home from the event. I was thinking about how Cassandra totally embarrassed me infront of everyone and I couldn’t do anything. I’ve gotten used to her constant bullying and often didn’t know how to react about it.

As we got into the mansion , I was walking slowly into my room when Mr Ronaldo tapped my shoulder. I was lost in thoughts that I was startled when he touched me . “Are you okay?, do you need someone to talk to?”.

“I’m fine”. I replied, “let’s talk okay” he said and let me to the couch where we sat down.

“ I really don’t want to talk about it” i said

“Okay but I can’t just leave you now, you’re visibly unhappy, let’s just watch a movie together tonight”. He said

“Okay that’s nice, let me freshen up” i said and stood up from couch. As I was about walking away, I tripped on my dress and was about hitting the floor but mr Ronaldo caught me. We were facing each other. We looked into each other’s eyes passionately and I didn’t know what happened but I initiated a kiss. At first he didn’t reciprocate but after sometime he took over. He carried me to the couch where I sat on his lap. He kissed me so had. He then captured my tongue and deepened the kiss. His hands started roaming my back. He unzipped my dress and my b**bs was visible to him. He then sucked one of my b**bs giving it the attention it was yearning for before moving on to the next one. When he was done with my b**bs, he moved back to my lips and kissed me passionately.
