Chapter Five
After the girls had gone off to work, Mary retrieved Sauna’s panties from the drawer of her dresser. Quickly she wrapped them in newspaper and pushed them into the bottom of the plastic garbage bag, which she then placed in the dumpster and took out to the curb. She busied herself cleaning the house and preparing a dinner of roast chicken, mashed potatoes and fresh asparagus for when Angel and Faith got home. Late in the afternoon she remembered that the warden had said if she wanted to see her husband on Wednesday she should call him to make an appointment the day before.
