“We’re here,” Thena said. It had been five minutes since we arrived, but I continued to stare out the window and refused to leave the car. “Are you sure, you’re okay?” “Yup,” I nodded. I just couldn’t help but feel nervous to see the aftermath that was Dana 2.0. But most of all, I didn’t know how I should interact with Jonathan and the guys. Should I try to act like before? Or should I start trying to be friendlier? Would that be too weird? I took a deep breath and grabbed my back. “Okay, I’m going. Thanks, Thena,” I said, then opened the door and left. Carden Academy was the same as how I left it—at least, at a first glance. The first one who greeted me was Maria, who placed an arm around mine. “Okay, so I was thinking, blue,” she said, failing to provide me context. “Blue?” I asked.
