Differing reactions were heard all around, and from our table, Gareth's friends stood up and went running to pull the two away. Daniel's friends also came to his rescue. And as the two groups of guys engaged in a heated argument, Mrs. Dunston came rushing in and bellowed, “What in God’s name is happening here?” so loud, that it made everyone in the cafeteria shut up.
“All of you!” she motioned to the guys furiously, “follow me!”
Daniel looked like he was protesting while clutching the side of his face that Gareth had just punched, so Mrs. Dunston huffed and pulled him by the back of his collar.
“Oof, they’re in so much trouble now,” Maria remarked as soon as they were all out of sight. “I never knew Gareth could get angry like that.”
“Yeah, he’s usually just a happy guy,” Fin replied
