It was the peak of the campaign season, and the exams—which quickly follows the election day—was just around the corner. During this time of the year, Carden Academy is gracious enough to stop lectures in order to give way to review and practice classes, room-to-room campaigning, and the debate. My team, which consisted of Maria, Fin, Lara and Jerry, was beginning to take things up a notch. Fin had been preparing me vigorously for the debate, Maria had been lining up interviews for me and making sure I seemed “likeable", and Lara and Jerry were helping me get an audience with the lower year levels.
